Topped up my wallet! Let's get zapping! 🥳
I submitted my university pre-production work today and I'm so excited! Everything went really well and I'm happy with the amount of concept art I provided the team with. Happy days! Now, I have to do research for Chaos Cloth simulations as the dress that the character is wearing is long and will need extra animations to make it work nicely. Here is the character in case I haven't shared it before 🤎
I put the exploration phase too as the last photo.
The character represents life itself. She's an alchemist, who will be controlling roots and herbs to make her potions. Her name is Hypatia, named after the famous Alchemist in ancient Egypt.
The game will have another alchemist who represents death. He will be controlling items like mud and bones to make his potions. His name is Cedric and together they create balance. Yin Yang in order to summon different characters in the game.
I'll share more about the game and the mechanics when I have something to show you.. for now, these are our concepts for the main characters.

My monstera doesn't look anything like that anymore and I'm devastated. I learnt a lot of lessons from it, but it doesn't make it any easier. I'm down to 1 leaf and I hope it will make it 🤞🏼
Biggest lesson is about roots. Depending on the size of the roots, your pot needs to be just an inch bigger. Well, I didn't do that, did I? 😅

I've been working on a few things these past couple of weeks apart from writing essays 🙄 Finally I'm on my last year of university as a 3D games artist undergraduate.
I really thought when I applied to enter, that I'll be doing loads of 3D practice and game implementation, but the reality is that 2D sketches are interchangeable with my 3D work. In order to see something come to completion, it truly takes a long time of researching, making moodboards, sketching, colour palettes, iterations of the work and sketching some more! 🙃 We're talking at least 1 month goes into the ideation and pre-production stage.
Back to writing the conclusion and the introduction of my essay today. If you made it this far, have a lovely day!

A YEAR! The art piece that took me a bit over a year to complete.
I started this commission piece on September 4th, last year. Can you believe it? University took over and an art block that left me looking at it with no direction. Finally, last month I picked it back up as I had an idea on how to bring it to completion and voilà! It's finally here with all its glory!
Meet Minnie! She lives in Germany with her pawrents and a little kid. Sometimes she gets scared of the little one and hides. She's a beauty who enjoys the quiet times and food of course! 😸

Sci fi prop for a game we're building at uni. Unfortunately I have to rework on the topology of the bed as there is pinching around the bed cushions.
It's the first time I really enjoyed modelling since starting my course in October. I guess I'm getting more comfortable with Maya and this is a huge win!

Appendicitis was not on my 2025 bingo card this year 😅🫣
It all started with really sharp pains at my stomach, making me think I got food poisoning. I took painkillers and the pain didn't go down at all. That was the point I said to myself that its time to go to the hospital, as I was enduring those pains for 6 hours at that point.
Nobody could prepare me for the shoulder pain after my surgery. The trapped air in my shoulder from the keyhole surgery, hurts so much more that the appendicitis! 🤕

• High Clouds (20,000+ ft): Cirrus, Cirrostratus, Cirrocumulus – thin, wispy, made of ice crystals.

it's industry standard.. studios are not using blender as far as I am aware. But I'm really tempted to start learning Blender just because there are a ton of tutorials, resources on blender.
