It's back up. The problem was on the hosting server. It did a reset and didn't notify the dev of satellite. I got it worked out early this morning with the dev. It got fixed with a couple keystrokes. New server host incoming so this doesn't happen again in the future. I'm happy to know the dev IRL and was able to pick up the phone and call him since no one told him Satellite was down. He handled it before running out the door to catch his flight. Big surprise incoming for the friends of Satellite. Keep your eyes open. Big drop inbound.

I Agree with the principle that "safe people make safe places”. A number of pepper authors emphasize the importance of community. I didn't mention that but took steps in my life to do a tactical relocation to move into low population density rural America where community still matters and where neighbors still take care of neighbors. Thanks for the reply. I'm but a pleb with a lone voice in the wilderness. I have no followers to speak of - hence little influence. My freinds are you preppers? I've been an active pepper since I first saw the writing on the wall over twenty years ago. I engaged with a militia group for a season to learn what the sovereign citizen can do to be ready for the ultimate decline of social and economic conditions. BEANS representing all sorts of shelf stable foods and water purification and storage. BULLETS. Firearms, ammo, and replacement parts, batteries for optics. BANDAIDS all first aid supplies, medications of as many types as possible as well as trauma kits and IV supplies. BULLION gold, silver, booze, cigarettes, dry goods, candy, diapers, female hygiene products all for barter. BIBLE Ever necessary spiritual food to keep sane and enrich ones local clan and community while under stress. THEN THERE CAME BITCOIN. Stack to the best of your ability. Stay humble.

Carla how in the world did you end up on this topic? It's a pretty cool fish and one of my favorite finds when diving. They have the best camouflage. One of my other favorite finds are scorpion fish. Another fabulous fish hiding right under your nose. Now you want to wonder about weird critters, try finding Pygmy seahorses or nudibranchs.

It's like taking Broken Money and gearing it to an audience that isn't as sophisticated. Eg plebs without masters level econ backgrounds. I've read all these books and then some.( 50 plus books in the last two years) and this one speaks to the masses who are trying to wrap their heads around the basics of philosophy of money, markets, and the critical role fiat plays in our society and the outsized role of the corruption of our abstracted time and energy in the ponzi of fiat and debt. Leopard does a great job reaching a much wider audience.

It was on my bucket list as one of the last three states in the country to visit. Got it crossed off a couple years ago during leaf peeping season. I got to scuba with a pair of them that size in Fakarava a couple years ago. They were amazing. Later on that same dive I swam into a school of barracuda that had tens of thousands swimming in a cyclone formation starting at 3 meters all the way down into the dark. This is awesome footage. I have a pack rat that I've been trying to live trap in my barn and it hasn't been interested in my bait. Well yesterday I unexpectedly trapped a skunk. My lovely spouse got sprayed and came running back to the house stripping of all her clothes and jumped in the shower with the skunk antidote: Dawn dish soap, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. In the mean time she sent me to the barn to arrange for it's disposal. Wouldn't you know it but that little fucker got me too! I dispatched the stinky bastard and had my own trip through the shower. Somehow that just wasn't on my bingo card for the day. That put me in a foul mood for the evening. It gave me insight to my personality how I just don't have the resilience and necessary sense of humor in the face of adversity that I once thought I had. Can anyone relate? What wasn't on your bingo card recently that caught you off guard that taught you a valuable lesson besides never approach a trapped skunk from its business end?!!

There is a Bitcoin Meetup coming to my area in a few weeks. I would like to see our time together be productive beyond the socialization.
