So to me the main two musical artistic losses are:
1. The physical need to flip the record: Abbey Road uses this to great effect between I Want You (She's So Heavy) and Here Comes The Sun.
2. The locked groove at the end of the side, which the Beatles also used at the end of Sgt. Peppers.
Let me know if there is something I'm still not getting about the difference in gapless playback. (2/2).

I guess I'm still not getting what the difference is. My parents' turntable can also select tracks on the vinyl record, just like a CD player. You can press "2" and it will start playing the 2nd track. I think it senses the physical smooth part of the vinyl where on track ends and the next track starts. On both vinyl or CD, you can listen to the tracks continuously with no gaps in the sound, or select which track you want to start at. (1/2)

E.g., you can listen to the Dark Side of the Moon on CD today, and unless you have a really weird CD player or faulty CD, it will be gapless.

AFAIK, gapless playback *is* possible with CD audio. You can have track N flow seamlessly into track N+1 if you master the CD very carefully, such that the cut is placed exactly on the right boundary. So sometimes the cut has to be slightly before or after you want it to be. I have used this CD Writer software to make these: https://www.dbpoweramp.com/cdwriter
I am willing to believe that this was easier for producers to do in the vinyl days, although I don't know the details.

I feel ew about it too. We had known each other for years. She had confided in me that she liked women, and it had been a painful coming out and acceptance. I felt like if she dated me, I would be keeping her from having an experience she would like better... now, she has been dating a woman for years.
I was young then and I regret it. But I wonder if she could ever have truly loved me. That is the part of me that is still biphobic that I have to work on.

hey so this is a hella tangent, but what is it called if a bi woman you've been attracted to for a long time is finally wanting to date you, but she's never been in a relationship with a woman before and wants to be monogamous, so you say I love you but no, hoping she can experience a wlw relationship first before committing to monogamy with a man? Asking for a friend. (Also now she is in a loving relationship with a woman, but this basically tanked the friendship :( )

I remember seeing soldiers like that in Europe (France, I think?) and thinking it was weird but getting used to it super fast.

I like your videos, and I feel for you and all the other creators that have to deal with abuse and strangeness from the large Internet every day. There are plenty of people out there who only want to tear things down. As someone who has never achieved fame and is just trying to figure out my life, this take feels like arrogance, like punching down on anybody you deem "not successful". Maybe you do not care about my opinion, but it is disheartening to see this video.

I've had similar experiences in the Adirondacks -- hike ridges and summits and you'll see crowds of people. But hike along streams or in the forest and you can see almost no one.

Rather than describe how it works in the intro paragraph, spend some more time explaining what it is, tying into broader concepts people understand. Save the how it works for the body of the article. Imo that would make it more "encyclopedic".

another way to improve the intro paragraph would be to include a sentence or two with a bird's eye view of what this is, which a technically-minded layperson could understand. With more [[blue links]] tying it in to larger concepts.
As it stands now, ("...is a computer processor technology designed to improve security. The hardware works by giving...)" I'm still confused about what it is. How does it relate to architectures like RISC or x86_64?
