you have to set the setting in the audio settings but then every meeting you have to turn omit on by clicking in the top right of the meeting window

[@geeknews](https://geeknews.chat/@geeknews ) the issue you had when Adam tried to play “go podcasting” on new media show was zooms audio engine. He needed to have original sound for musicians turned on in zoom. Otherwise zoom filters out anything that isn’t human voice and because it had the mic squeal in it it tried to filter it

I think background noise is ok if your reporting on location. Kinda gives an idea of what the show floor was like
