Nice summary of the way that the "elite liberals vs working-class conservatives" myth gets it wrong. Political scientists have shown this again and again (Gelman in 2009, and the article cites Ogorzalek, Piston and Puig 2019). Rich *people* vote conservative, rich *regions* vote liberal.
