State overreach is on the rise...
The need to protect ourselves is growing...(sovereign individual principle)
Will the state be unstoppable?
Will we be able to protect ourselves?
Will AI enable the existence of a sovereign individual?
Will nation-states still exist in the future?
Will Bitcoin prevail, or will it simply be integrated into the existing financial system?

😉 Very few people know this, but the founder of the Austrian School, Carl Menger, was born on Polish territory. At that time, in 1840, it was Galicia and belonged to the Austrian Empire.
😼 The Polish territories were divided up at that time; otherwise, Menger might have been born Polish, and we would have had the “Polish School of Economics” today 😸
🧡 The ideas of this school are still alive in Poland today, and there are several institutes, meeting places, and even a conference that will take place in 2027 in my hometown of Katowice 🔎

Yes, we'll have to wait and see the details. In Poland, there's a 19% capital gains tax with no tax-free allowance, while in the Czech Republic, profits are tax-free after a three-year holding period. Some Bitcoiners will also be drawn to Prague for work. A Bitcoin-only ecosystem has already been established there.

💡 What was originally intended to promote the idea of saving is now almost exclusively recognized and celebrated in developing and emerging countries.
🙈 And in industrialized countries? Here, the idea of spending or speculative investment is proclaimed as the norm. Saving? That would hurt the economy and lead to more unemployment, which is unthinkable.
👀 If people and children knew that there is already a new savings technology that makes saving worthwhile and sensible again
💪 It would be wonderful to see courageous, helpful, and tech-savvy providers who can bring saving back into people's lives.
It is also our responsibility to raise awareness of this topic among parents.
Initiatives such as @nprofile…vcq8 (German Bitcoin Association) or Bitcoin Association Switzerland should also address this topic. The subject is part of education.

🤩 Polish people are moving back to Poland!
🔎 Since around 2015, fewer and fewer Polish people have been coming to Germany. In 2024, the balance will be negative for the first time in 30 years.
🙈 That would have been impossible when I came to Germany in 2002.
Poland is still going strong and wants to make a difference, and people are enthusiastic and willing to get things done.
💡 Germany is partly sluggish, saturated, and paralyzed by bureaucracy. Unfortunately, the trend is clearly pointing in that direction 〽️
🥨 Munich and Bavaria, with their proximity to Austria, Italy, and the mountains, are still wonderful places to live. But so is Poland.
🔶 Take the time to visit Poland, whether for business or pleasure. It's worth it! You'll be amazed. 😉

👀 In the Bitcoin space, we can talk about many important issues such as self-custody, multisig solutions, bitcoin-backed loans, lightning integration, the best ways to buy Bitcoin, and non-KYC exchanges, and these topics are also important (don't get me wrong)
🫵 But one subject remains the most urgent, and that is 👉 financial education 👈 . Every child should start learning about this when their parents allow them to have their first smartphone.
🙈 Unfortunately, many adults remain at the savings account level and don't progress beyond that.
🫡 I'm looking forward to doing more for proper financial education again soon. Very soon...

🔸 The ECB cheerfully organizes design competitions for new euro banknotes
🔸 Inflation is often in double digits, yet they still communicate as if 2-3% is the target
🔸 Politicians only have wishes, but no solutions. The money-printer (brrrr...) in the US and EU will continue to push ahead at full speed
🔸 CBDSs should be used in the EU as the main solution to the problem
🔸 Retailers are reducing the size of their products while simultaneously increasing their prices
🔸 The hamster wheel is spinning faster and faster, and many are already reaching their limits
🔸 No one feels that concrete solutions that work will be developed soon
🔸 The rich and capitalists are still being blamed for inflation
🙈 The list can be further supplemented with relevant points...and Henry Ford is turning in his grave.
😼 I believe the saying: “Things have to get worse before they get better” is still very true.
