⏱️ Tomorrow is World Thrift Day...
💡 What was originally intended to promote the idea of saving is now almost exclusively recognized and celebrated in developing and emerging countries.
🙈 And in industrialized countries? Here, the idea of spending or speculative investment is proclaimed as the norm. Saving? That would hurt the economy and lead to more unemployment, which is unthinkable.
👀 If people and children knew that there is already a new savings technology that makes saving worthwhile and sensible again
💪 It would be wonderful to see courageous, helpful, and tech-savvy providers who can bring saving back into people's lives.
It is also our responsibility to raise awareness of this topic among parents.
Initiatives such as @nprofile…vcq8 (German Bitcoin Association) or Bitcoin Association Switzerland should also address this topic. The subject is part of education.

🤩 Polish people are moving back to Poland!
🔎 Since around 2015, fewer and fewer Polish people have been coming to Germany. In 2024, the balance will be negative for the first time in 30 years.
🙈 That would have been impossible when I came to Germany in 2002.
Poland is still going strong and wants to make a difference, and people are enthusiastic and willing to get things done.
💡 Germany is partly sluggish, saturated, and paralyzed by bureaucracy. Unfortunately, the trend is clearly pointing in that direction 〽️
🥨 Munich and Bavaria, with their proximity to Austria, Italy, and the mountains, are still wonderful places to live. But so is Poland.
🔶 Take the time to visit Poland, whether for business or pleasure. It's worth it! You'll be amazed. 😉

👀 In the Bitcoin space, we can talk about many important issues such as self-custody, multisig solutions, bitcoin-backed loans, lightning integration, the best ways to buy Bitcoin, and non-KYC exchanges, and these topics are also important (don't get me wrong)
🫵 But one subject remains the most urgent, and that is 👉 financial education 👈 . Every child should start learning about this when their parents allow them to have their first smartphone.
🙈 Unfortunately, many adults remain at the savings account level and don't progress beyond that.

🔸 Inflation is often in double digits, yet they still communicate as if 2-3% is the target
🔸 Politicians only have wishes, but no solutions. The money-printer (brrrr...) in the US and EU will continue to push ahead at full speed
🔸 CBDSs should be used in the EU as the main solution to the problem
🔸 Retailers are reducing the size of their products while simultaneously increasing their prices
🔸 The hamster wheel is spinning faster and faster, and many are already reaching their limits
🔸 No one feels that concrete solutions that work will be developed soon
🔸 The rich and capitalists are still being blamed for inflation
🙈 The list can be further supplemented with relevant points...and Henry Ford is turning in his grave.
😼 I believe the saying: “Things have to get worse before they get better” is still very true.

The event in Warsaw was a wonderful gathering of creative and proactive people who are engaged and positive about the future. Bitcoiners at heart! 🧡
I was very happy to meet the Polish Bitcoin community on site, as well as other Polish colleagues who are around the world.
It is important that the Polish community continues to develop. Unfortunately, I see a lot of altcoins, trading, and still little signal and too much noise there. Bitcoin-only education plays a crucial role in this. Not only the individual but also the country, Poland, needs a plan to be independent from third parties and to have a plan ₿ for the future.
I am happy to support the Polish community from Germany with my experience.

👀 In just 18 days, the Bitcoin Conferences / Events in 2025 will get going for me. This will be followed by @nprofile…py4c and #BitcoinForumIngolstadt
1) I emigrated from Poland to Germany 23 years ago, but I still feel Polish and would never say that I am German😉 . I am very happy to support my colleagues in Poland on-site and also to take an active part in the 4 days with @nprofile…86ed😁 . On Friday, I will give a small presentation on the community stage. You can be curious...it will definitely have a movie 🎞️ reference... 😁
2) Since 2025, I have tried not only to visit the Bitcoin events but also to actively participate in them. Whether as a mentor at the Bitcoin Talents or as a speaker in #Warsaw and soon in #Prague and hopefully in #Igolstadt - I am leaving the #tribune and entering the #arena more and more often.
3) @nprofile…nd78 🎬🐇 is not just a conference as we know it, but a meeting of creative, proactive and open-minded people who have found ways to express the topic of Bitcoin, freedom and data protection in their own way.
Meeting these people and learning from them gives me a new opportunity to perceive the topics around Bitcoin from different perspectives and certainly to learn from them. I already know that it will be very exciting. I'm looking forward to it.
