Well so far so good my testing of my private fediverse / mastodon server is gong well. Spooled up a new VPS for configuration and initial testing and now rolled that config into my primary VPS as everything in the last 24 hours checked out.
Now that it's on my prod server I will let it soak for about 7 days and then if all is well I will migrate my account there.
No longer will I been slave to the man that controls the server.!

I have had Phillips Filament Pole Lamps in my outdoor lights since 1997 and still going strong, With and smart switch and home automation they go on at sundown and off at sunrise every day at 30% brightness. Never trusted CFL's and now I have long running LED bulbs for 10 years in my basement.

Not up here in the Chicago area, About 20% of the homes have panels where I live and I would say every year someone has to replace one or two of them. We have weather extremes. And the big push was 5 years ago. One homeowner had to turn their system off until they could replace 6 defective ones.

Yea but will a quantum processor be too niche / not mass produced. We have billions of CPU's that are capable of doing the trinary model on binary CPU's and very good results.
I did the IBM Qiskit quantum summer course last year and everything was still all theory in every homework assignment. Every so called Quantum CPU that has been announced still isn't as ubiquitous as X86.

What you are missing is the cutting back on releasing fully baked software. Apps and web sites introduced the "continuous deployment" model and minimal viable product concepts. Test Driven Development was developed to address the rapid release cycle by removing dedicated testing teams. What a mess was made of of the software industry by these processes.
