The sun is scorching hot in Matsuyama (Japan), can't walk in this heat.

I'm a fool 🤡 I thought that arriving early at Tokyo Station would allow me to board an early bullet train to Toyama 🚄
The 2 first trains were reserved seats only, which were full ❌
Now I'm on the third train, non-reserved seat and it takes longer 🥲

Korean Air just changed the aircraft type on my flight from Incheon (Seoul, South Korea 🇰🇷) to Narita (Tokyo, Japan 🇯🇵 ).
🤓 I had specifically chosen, based on the seat map, the correct side of the plane to maximize chances of seeing Mount Fuji from the air 🤞 🗻
I had to re-select the seat as they had moved me to the wrong side ✅

Totally. Also, plans can be moved, updated, or removed on the fly. In my case, I want to arrive with that exercise of "looking for things to do" already done.
It is true that sometimes you simply improve because you need to (bad weather, not feeling 100%).

Right?!
I was doing some digging through brands and whatnot, only to discover that the pens I've used as a kid were from Japanese brands. I had no idea.
I also had no idea there were so many types!

I had no idea how deep the stationery (pens and paper) rabbit hole was like in Japan. It didn't occur to me in my previous 4 trips.
I'm adding a stop in Tokyo to visit the Itoya store for my upcoming adventure in March.
I like fountain pens, but perhaps it's time to dive into ballpoint pens.
