Last week, the second version of Fulcrum Electrum server was released.

The most significant changes are:
1. The server now survives unexpected shutdowns (power outage reboot), which was its weakness in the first version;
2. The database is now platform-independent – you can synchronize the server on a powerful computer and then transfer the data to your home node with weaker hardware.
In my opinion, this is now the best Electrum server for a home node compared to electrs and Electrum-X. Previously, it was simply the fastest, but due to its fragility, I, for example, could not use it.
Many thanks to Calin Culianu and all the folks who have contributed to the fundraising for this version!

Я думаю, телефон можно использовать в качестве холодного кошелька для небольших сумм только если он у вас уже есть и он более-менее современный. Но не покупать специально под эту цель. Устройство с радио-модулем, имеющим прямой доступ к оперативной памяти и контролирующимся отдельной закрытой прошивкой – это стрёмный кошелек.

Здорово, что уже есть так много кошельков, как кастодиальных, так и нет. Я пока что не решаюсь тратиться на открытие и поддержание каналов и пользуюсь Alby в связке с Zeus на телефоне.

Советую тем, кто будет собирать без корпуса, убедиться что контакты на плате камеры не будут касаться контактов GPIO на Raspberry. Если это произойдет, устройство может не загружаться. До меня не сразу дошло в чем дело, думал SD карточка. Для надежности перед закреплением я подложил под камеру подушечку из поролона.
