I've got a Marcy SM-4000 combination smith machine, pec dec, high pully, blahbblah, with catch hooks at the front. It's not ideal for squats but a lot safer than not having it. Squat rack would be better. I picked it up very cheap during the great post-pandemic home gym sell off.

Plug in solar isn't even legal yet. That's why the regs were updated with regards to labelling of bidirectional safety devices. People plugging them in on a circuit with other outlets will be interesting when a fault happens. Given the amount of dangerous shit amazon sells now. And... feeding in mains voltage with a plug??

Thank you. When it first releases steam I turn down the gas so some steam escape as the weight moves but it doesn't jump up like that. So you leave the gas higher and count how many times it does a big pressure release? 👍
I searched youtube for a video about counting whistles but most were in Hindi and my vocabulary is very basic. One in English was titled: "Don't damaal your house 🔥 Learn how to use a pressure cooker from the best." 😂😂

Yes. Last year I built a greenhouse for the chillis and sweet peppers but still planted them out a bit late this year. I grow corriander, lemongrass, thai basil, some other herbs and some cucumbers in there too.

I used to be an electrician and a gas fitter, on many occasions I got called to a rental property or a place with new owners to take out the electric hob and fit a gas one. It was always to cook roti.
I'm never sure if there's a difference between chapati and roti, or when I should call them one or the another. They often seem to be interchangeble terms in the UK
Edit: Ah, roti are normally cooked on a flame and chapati on a tava.

I'm still at work. Do I start drinking and walk home or start drinking and sleep here? I suppose it depends on the pubs still being open and turning the long walk into a pub crawl.
The job I'm stuck doing will not be impacted by a few pints but my ability to stick at it and do it proprlerly, rather than digging a large pit and burying it, will be.
Needing to dispose of some of the finest beer known to man* is part of the job anyway.
*The species, I'm sure there are finer alien ales.

Such a distinct flavour. 100% mustard oil is labelled "not for consumption" and "external use only" and we have to make do with so-called edible mustard oil that's a 50/50 mix of mustard oil and another oil. That just means I use twice as much. 🤔

The documentation often says "should" and "should not" rather than "must" and " must not". This is to avoid placing restrictions on what people do with their own instances. Unfortunately it also avoids placing restrictions on what people can do with their own instance.
i.e. "Block - Signal to a remote server that they should hide your profile from that user. Not guaranteed."

Whichever side you are looking from one of those two things is wrong. Trump can't argue the UK is "unfair". And the surplus is only small if you discount services, as Trump choses to. Following his formula for tariffs, without an artificial lower limit the UK would be at 0% and the EU at 20%

That's odd. It wouldn't normally, in my experience, look anywhere other than the boot drive unless specifically instructed to, A: shouldnt be hard coded. In a system with 2 floppy drives I could boot from either with the same disc without problems.

CP/M didn't know or control what drive it was booting from. Most machines defaulted to booting from A (and wouldn't check other drives) but some, such as the Osborne OCC1, would let you boot from another drive it you pressed CTRL-B or other key combination on power up or reset.
So: Can it? Yes. Will it? It depends on the machine.

If I was offered work I always I took it, even the hard, cold hours. If I needed work then I searched for it. I don't know if such things exist now but job centres had a "temporary job" section. If I was ever short then I'd head there early and ask what they had. 8 hours unloading car parts from lorries, 2 days mixing cement, delivering leaflets, pulling cables, anything. Spent some of my down time getting qualifications for gas work, forklift ticket, etc. That opened more doors.

Spent the last 30 years working like that, or living a communal lifestyle. All bar one year that I worked in an office, that put me off ever being full time employed ever again. I have zero planned work in my future but know something will show up. I'm much happier like that. Wage slavery isn't for all of us.
A decent living wage should be available to those who want it. Just don't limit the options for those of us who don't.

Who even has a "laptop" or a "desktop" nowadays? We all just use phones. Why do you need a USB cable? You want me to find two cans and some string too? My phone connects with WiFi or Bluetooth and charges wirelessly, I don't use cables. It's not the 1990s anymore. Why can't they bother to get that install working directly from the phone like an app store?
