Was just using #curl to help debug some network configuration issues with a client.
Realised we'd need to fake a hostname mapping to a specific IP, as we haven't set up the DNS aliases yet.
And, because it's curl, not only is there a way to do it, there's several well documented options!

what was the context around asking that question?
If it was stand alone, I can see why they might take it as "someone's preparing to sue me before we even begin".
However, if you couched it with "I have an ethical obligation to object to this from any service provider", they may have taken it differently.

I thought the practice of loading fixtures as data migrations was quite commonplace, but I can't seem to find any credible guide / documentation on doing it easily, except for an app by Alex Hays for Django 1.7.

It took me several support people before one of them set "Not Specified" (or similar) in the back end.
Going by the errors in the browser console, its sole purpose was for some ad endpoint.
Which is doubly peculiar, as I don't recall there being ads on their site.

I just had a quick look at the website (https://www.djangoproject.com/foundation/ and https://www.djangoproject.com/foundation/faq/) and can not find:
1. what the requirements are
2. what duties are required for each role.
Certainly not knowing (2) is a major reason I've not tried to be involved.
