Let me be clear about something that Scripture itself will not allow us to soften. There is no genuine contest happening. What looks like a war between equal powers is nothing more than a creature throwing itself against its Creator, and the outcome was settled before the foundations of the world were laid.
Pharaoh thought he could outlast the covenant. Rome thought it could crucify a movement into silence. Medieval tyrants aligned themselves with darkness and called it destiny. The powerful in every generation have looked at the throne of heaven and made the catastrophic miscalculation of believing their wealth, their bloodlines, their secret knowledge, or their coordinated influence could somehow rewrite what was written in eternity. Every single one of them is now dust and judgment.
The counsel of the Lord stands forever, and the plans of the powerful are not a counterforce to that counsel. They are, in the deepest and most uncomfortable theological sense, unwitting instruments of it.
Christ did not merely survive the cross. He weaponized it. The very moment the enemy believed he had won, he had in fact guaranteed his own sentence. Colossians 2 tells us that at the cross, Christ made a public spectacle of principalities and powers, triumphing over them. This was not a close call. This was a coronation.
So when you see the elite of this world moving pieces on their board, consolidating power, suppressing truth, believing themselves to be architects of a new order, the theologically informed response is not panic. It is the calm, grounded, historically tested confidence of those who have read the last chapter.
The Risen Christ is not waiting to be vindicated. He is already seated. Every enemy is already under His feet in principle, and that principle is marching toward its full and final expression.
He is risen indeed. And nothing on this earth, no matter how powerful, how hidden, or how organized, has ever survived being on the wrong side of that fact.

I was that man. Career, wife, two kids, house, cars, a pension waiting down the road. By every visible measure, I had it. What I did not have was the slightest awareness of what I was doing to the people around me or to myself.
Selfish. Ignorant. Narcissistic. I say those words plainly because they are true and because I earned them.
When the marriage lost its fire and the children demanded everything I did not know how to give, I retreated into work. Work was safe. I knew how to perform there. Home required something different, something I had never developed. So I made choices that were dangerous. Genuinely destructive. The details are not the point. The consequences were real and they were mine.
Somewhere inside the wreckage I started asking questions I had never bothered with before. Why was I made. What is this life actually for. Why is the world so saturated with heartbreak and why is it so hard for human beings to simply get along with one another.
I picked up the Bible. I had read it before, or thought I had. This time it was different. It was alive. The words were not historical artifacts sitting behind glass. They moved. They named things accurately. They explained human nature, conflict, pride, failure and redemption with a precision that no philosophy, psychology or self help framework has come close to matching.
Once you see it, you cannot unsee it.
God has literally reconstructed my thinking, my actions and my heart. Not improved them. Reconstructed them.
Today is the Lord’s day. I am not attending worship out of obligation or tradition. I am going because He is worthy of it. Full stop.

The intermediary is the illness.
Every layer between the person who creates and the person who needs, the central bank, the licensing board, the platform, the regulator, etc extracts rent.
P2P exchange isn’t primitive. It’s what human society actually is beneath the infrastructure built to sit between us. When you trade directly with someone, your labor, your craft, your harvest, you see each other. You negotiate. You build reputation through relationship, not credit score.
We’ve mistaken dependency for civilization.
The healing would be structural. It happens when the farmer knows the family eating his food, when the builder lives in the neighborhood he builds, when value flows person to person without a toll booth in between.
Nostr is part of this. Bitcoin is part of this. But it’s bigger than tech, it’s a return to legible human exchange.

For decades, American foreign policy has followed a troubling pattern. They destabilize a region through military intervention, watch the humanitarian crisis unfold, and then absorb the refugee flows that predictably follow. Iraq. Afghanistan. Libya. Syria. The geography changes but the cycle does not.
This is not a partisan observation. It spans administrations, both Republican and Democrat. The neoconservative architects of the Iraq War and the liberal interventionists who cheered the Libyan campaign both contributed to this pattern. The bipartisan foreign policy consensus has consistently failed to account for second and third order consequences, and ordinary Americans on both ends of the political spectrum are left to debate the fallout at home while the architects of these policies face zero accountability.
You cannot separate immigration policy from foreign policy. They are two ends of the same thread. If we want to seriously address migration pressures, we have to seriously address what creates them. That means ending the reflexive interventionism that has defined Washington for thirty years.
