Building security guards responded to reports of a fight and found the woman trying to push Contreras out of her apartment, the filing stated.

“TILF also calls for the working class to rise up and fight back against capitalism,” an FBI affidavit noted. “Moreover, TILF advocates that liberalism and peaceful protest will be the downfall of those who believe it is enough, and that ‘direct action is the only way.’”

That name, which predates the US, dovetails with the extremist group’s goals of eliminating America, which it feels is illegitimate.
Left-wing activist groups such as Black Lives Matter have appropriated the term as well, and it is often used as a means of countering the “colonial” names for the US and Canada.
TILF has taken that concept to the extreme, while mixing a push for “decolonisation” of North America and of Israel.
Its members have used phrases such as “From Turtle Island to Palestine, Occupation is a Crime” to convey that mix.
“When we say ‘Death to America’ and call for an end to colonization, it doesn’t mean the displacement or harm of non indigenous citizens,” the radical group insisted in an October Facebook post.
The group has also proudly posted images on social media of its members brandishing signs such as “Death to ICE!!!” and parading around Palestinian flags.
Turtle Island’s links to the foiled New Year’s Eve terror plot
On Monday, the FBI and Justice Department announced that the feds foiled a plot by a TILF splinter group that calls itself the Order of the Black Lotus, which was allegedly working on “OPERATION MIDNIGHT SUN,” a bombing plot.

Four members of the Order of the Black Lotus — Audrey Ilene Carroll, 30; Zachary Aaron Page, 32; Dante Gaffield, 24; and Tina Lai, 41 — were charged with possession of an unregistered destructive device and conspiracy.
A fifth suspect, who has not yet been identified, was also charged with plotting a separate attack.
The bombing plot entailed participants donning “BlacBloc” attire, purchasing black powder pipe bomb materials in cash and taking other steps to conceal their identity, according to the complaint.
They also seemed aware that the feds were likely tracking them. Page claimed it was “100,000[%]” likely the FBI was on their trail during a Dec. 7 meeting, per the complaint.

“His argument? That it was defamatory, invasive, and ‘factually incorrect’ to refer to him as a man because he is ‘legally and socially a woman.’”
According to Reduxx, Kotomi is seeking monetary damages, and for a Japanese court to order the removal of the article about him from the publication’s website. He was only able to file his lawsuit after obtaining an address he suspected belonged to a Reduxx writer living in Japan by tracking down people he incorrectly believed to be her associates. This resulted in an unrelated party receiving notice of the suit and contacting the outlet in confusion.
In a discussion with the New Westminster Times, Anna Slatz, Reduxx co-founder and editor in chief, said that Kotomi will be attempting, in part, to use legal precedent from the “Hitotsubashi Outing Case” in his lawsuit. The Hitotsubashi case followed the suicide death of a 25-year-old graduate student who was outed as homosexual in a group chat. His parents later sued the university, and the Tokyo High Court referred to the young man’s outing as “serious invasion of personal and privacy rights.”
In ensuing years, numerous Japanese municipalities have passed legislation to ban the outing of a person’s sexual orientation or gender identity. In many areas of Japan, to do so is considered a serious human rights violation.
Kotomi’s transgender identity, however, has been publicly known for years. For instance, he told Japanese media last year that he was first “outed” as transgender on social media as far back as 2021.
Japan’s defamation laws differ when compared to Canada. While truth and public interest can protect against defamation claims, “privacy violations” complicate the issue. Japan has privacy infringement laws that can lead to civil liability in cases where “one’s private life (is) arbitrarily made public.”
If Kotomi can prove that a violation of his privacy occurred, truth is not considered a defense for liability. If he succeeds in court at arguing that Reduxx “outed” his transgender identity, the fact that he is a male—the truth—may not be considered.
No court dates have been set at this time.
Reduxx, an independent online publication for “feminist news and opinion,” was founded in 2022. Their team has broken hundreds of exclusive stories on gender ideology and predatory males, including the story of two male boxers competing against women at the 2024 Paris Olympics. They are one of the few media outlets that refuses to adopt false, misleading language to hide or deny anyone’s biological sex.
The magazine has launched a fundraising campaign for legal costs to defend itself against the lawsuit. "

"I'd love some advice as I've been seeing more and more of this nonsense lately and it's really been messing me up.
I'm a trans lesbian that's been really trying hard in the dating scene and it's been nothing but failure after failure. I'll get these same types of comments over and over again and each time it feels like it's taking something from me.
Why do cis lesbians use this as an excuse? If they're a lesbian they shouldn't have a problem dating another woman. The fact that they automatically jump to this, as if I could never be seen as a lesbian, like there's not even a possibility.
It makes me feel like less of a woman.
And I know preferences are a thing but this seems to go way beyond that. I've experienced this mostly online but irl it's all the more awful. To work up the courage to go to a lesbian bar and then go up to a woman, and the first thing out of her mouth is, "Ughh sorry, I'm into other women."
The one time I worked up the courage to try and educate one of these types, saying I am a woman, she came back with, "I mean I'm into other female women." Which honestly hurt so bad.
It's not like this is just a one time thing, the automatic rejection/excuses has been pretty consistent, especially in the last month. Maybe it's the rise of Terf rhetoric among cis women but either way it's getting increasingly frustrating."

Treaty 3 folks generally vote NDP because they promise a Nation to Nation relationship, but they rarely follow through. PCC will definitely whittle away our treaty rights and I don't see MM being informed
enough to help us on that.

I heard her say she was voting for Trump, which puzzled me because I thought she was Canadian. I never heard her say she was "far right."
MAGA gets a lot of things right like free speech and opposition to vaccine mandates. Those used to be progressive positions.
MAGA Communism is a real big thing here now.
It's not as black & white as you think it is.
MM is pro reprouctive freedom, against pornography, against prostitution, against sexual assault and domestic violence.
She goes wrong when she talks about race and the environment (like some MAGA here, but not all)
I'm suspicious of the sudden need to call herself a feminist again after her failed attempt to be the queen of the Intellectual Dark Web.
It appears now that a lot of what she's said was political. I think MM started off slightly feminist but got lost by the appeal of the IDW before it blew up in her face. Now she's too politically illiterate to know what to do.

That's weird because she was very pro reproductive freedom in her most recent YT interviews. I don't remember her ever saying anything about guns at all.
I knew she was trying to suck up to WLRN in calling herslf a feminist again. I didn't know she was running for office at the time, but she has been trying to appear more left recenlty .

"As most of my followers know, I left Canada in January 2021 out of genuine concern that if I didn’t, I would never be able to leave. I predicted I would be targeted by the government on account of my political dissidence—specifically due to my criticisms of Covid mandates, increasing authoritarianism, and attacks on free speech by the government, as well as on account of the fact I have been the most prominent and vocal critic of gender identity ideology and legislation in Canada for over a decade now.
I went to Mexico and watched things get progressively worse in Canada. My choice to leave was reaffirmed over and over again. When Trudeau’s Liberals went after the Freedom Convoy and its supporters, freezing the bank accounts of Canadian citizens who had done nothing wrong, but were fighting for their Charter rights, I began limiting my dependence on Canadian banking institutions as well. This was a dangerous, authoritarian government and I didn’t want to be left vulnerable and dependent on a government I suspected would attempt to silence and destroy me in one way or another. Despite this, I have maintained a much stronger connection to Canada than our apparent Prime Minister, Mark Carney, as I have continued to return to the country to fight for women’s rights, speak at events, visit family and friends, and to cover Canadian politics extensively in my work.
I still hadn’t completely given up on the country, and with an election pending, I saw one last opportunity to fight for change, and to force some conversations that had been suppressed in my progressive Vancouver East riding. Last month, I decided to run as a Canadian Member of Parliament, and began to publicize my decision to run for the People’s Party of Canada (PPC)—the only party truly committed to fighting for freedom and women’s sex-based rights.
My candidacy was confirmed officially on Tuesday. That same day, I tried to access my bank account and could not. I contacted my bank, Vancity, and was informed the account had been frozen as per direction from the government. I had accessed my account just two days prior, so the timing was clear. I had not been informed of this freezing by anyone — not the bank, not the government. No one attempted to contact me. I was completely blindsided.
When I contacted my bank they refused to give me any information beyond the fact they were following government orders, and they gave me a number and name to contact. I called the number, and got a voicemail saying the employee was on vacation all week. So basically this guy froze my bank account and immediately went on vacation.
His voicemail offered another extension to call, which I did. No one answered, so I left a message. I called again later that day and left another message. No one returned my call, so I called back the next day and left another message. Still no one returned my call. The following day I called again and received a message saying I could not get through on account of “technical difficulties.” I tried calling a general number, and asked the woman on the other end of the phone if she could please refer me to someone who could provide me with information about why my bank account was frozen. She told me, “I can’t give you any information unless you give me more information about what’s going on,” to which I responded, “I have no information, that’s why I’m calling you: to get information.” We went back and forth like this for a while until I asked her if she was retarded and then said, “What exactly is your job—what is it you are being paid to do with the tax dollars of Canadians.” She explained her job was to refer people who called to the appropriate departments, numbers, and individuals. “Ok,” I said. “Then can you please refer me to someone who can explain to me what is going on with my bank account.” She said “No,” and I hung up.
It has now been a week since my bank account was frozen and I have received zero communication or information from the government.
I had a flight booked back to Canada today, which I cancelled, because if my bank account is frozen I can’t operate in the country and because I am very concerned about what awaits me upon arrival. I decided it wasn’t worth the risk of persecution or attempted prosecution so will not be returning to Canada, despite my original intention to come back to campaign."
