the biggest thing that attracted me to this site other than retro gaming was OP's no politics rules. I've checked out other sites (instances, I guess is what they are called) and I don't make it past a few posts and I'm done. I absolutely love the warm, friendly environment of this site. This is a great site to get away from news and politics and just enjoy talking about gaming and other general nostalgia.

Was this pure advertisement for 7-up? Yes. Did it work? Yes. The cool spot ads were the main reason I used to drink 7-UP. It was that effective. The game was whatever. It was fun for what it was.

I like the fact you create an accepting environment provided they follow the rules. Since signing up this has been a great place to interact with people.
The past site I was on, the site administrator and mods engaged in gang trolling and ran a lot of us off the site.
I just like having a place to be chill, talk about gaming and nor have to worry about political or depressing news events. I like the escape from that.
