Just discovered Spotify AI DJ for the first time, since I don’t really use premium. The product seems decent in terms of music, but the ‘voice and attitude’ on the AI is just trying so hard to be cool that it becomes cringe.

We said we wanted to take action on toxicity. In 2025 - two experiments, the first on lists and the second on replies significantly cut down on user perceptions of toxicity in the app. Lots to improve in accuracy but it was an incredibly promising start.

Hey #SpeirGorm folks, know anyone in the Irish govt who could use friendly outreach to get on Bluesky? This is talking about setting up handles, verification, tech support etc… so just if any of those might be blockers on orgs or people moving over.

Current events are making it challenging to track MPs and reputable organisations that are permanently migrating to Bluesky. If folks see examples that we need to assess for verification - do let me know. Will limit it largely to politicians, govt orgs and large orgs at the moment for this pass.

One happy realization over the past day of wins is that this site can be a place where political magic happens.
This comes as a shock to folks on other sites who say we are in a filter bubble.
Makes it all the more important that non-billionare controlled spaces exist. Media diversity matters.
