I'm excited about my latest piece for The Tonearm, where I speak with film and television composer Blake Leyh about his encounters with a space-age 24-string instrument called the Gravikord. We go deep.
Perhaps best known for the end titles theme to The Wire—which he composed and performed—Leyh captured his initial experiments with The Gravikord on a gorgeous album called 'New Modern Strings.'

I just finished listening to A History of Rock Music in 500 Songs — Sympathy for the Devil Part 4
and gotta say the final 20 minutes are some of the most harrowing I've ever heard on a podcast, teeth-gritting stuff — and I also strongly recommend it
