#Bitcoin Elliott Wave Update - Primary Count.
Sentiment is screaming wave 2, but at which wave degree? This is the most likely scenario in my opinion. An extended 5th wave that kicks off with a sharp 2.
It's still unclear if the move down is complete, and on a low time frame it is difficult to find satisfying counts to that effect. However, in the current wave 2 count, x and y could take any corrective form, including both new lows or just grinding sideways out.

I've spent HOURS sorting out my relays. Question for you, why is my profile out of date here: https://njump.me/[email protected]
I've edited and republished it dozens of times, to hundreds of different sets of relays, including the 21 relays I currently use, and even the njump.me relay and it never updates. I've even been through the source in github to make sure I publish to all the relays it uses.
Njump is pretty cool, would like to use is as a profile URL on Twitter, but I can't get the damn thing to show the right info.

Since I've been using #Nostr, I've had all the usual feelings I get with new tech. Buggy and a bit crappy for quite a long time, but eventually you find something that changes your mind. That something is Primal.
The UI and UX is so good it feels just like any other centralised social network, except of course it's not. It's impressive and it makes me want to use Nostr more.
Nothing is perfect tho, and as I browse the ecosystem and try other clients, I constantly find out of date copies of my profile (I've been using Nostr for 2 years already). The problem is, of course, relays. Which relays should we all be using?
My relays have changed over time as I've experimented, and it seems to be difficult to get my profile to update everywhere. This is my current list:

Since everyone is Uber bullish on the Trump presidency pumping their bags, it might be worth considering that most of the re-pricing happens over the next few months, potentially even putting a local top of sorts on Bitcoin as soon as Trump's inauguration. It always felt about right for a top to form Q4 or Q1, so it fits well enough, though it doesn't necessarily have to be a full cycle top.

#Bitcoin is 12.5% lower than it was at the 73k local high back in March. Think about that for a moment. 12.5% is NOTHING in this market.
If 73k was the cycle top, after nearly 7 months we would be down AT LEAST 50% by now, if not much more.
Consider that a Bitcoin bear market typically lasts about a year, and retraces ~80% of the move, the fact that we are ONLY down 12.5% after 7 months should be signal enough.
Just a very long, very boring and very frustrating sideways consolidation in a Bitcoin bull market that has a way to go.

Bitcoin spot ETFs have been available in many countries around the world for a while now. Some have been available for well over a year!
The only thing lacking is demand, and that comes with liquidity, not when some TradFi entity comes along with yet another Bitcoin product.
US news dominance on social media will lead you to believe that this is the most important event in Bitcoin's history, and the timing of the approval may lead you to believe that it affected price, but the reality is the US is late. Spot ETFs are old news, and if you're a real Bitcoiner, why are you cheering for these products anyway?
There are so many more important and interesting developments in the Bitcoin space.
Things that drive real self-custodial adoption, like what is going in El Salvador, and how that might influence other countries like Argentina to adopt Bitcoin at a national level. These events are huge!
Ordinals have attracted more builders on Bitcoin than we've seen in years past combined. BTC has gone from something that young people didn't care about, Boomer coin, to the most innovative and feature rich NFT market in crypto. Web3 has arrived on the mother chain and the result of that innovation is that Bitcoin is outperforming Ethereum by quite a margin!
Bitcoin will continue higher whether these ETF products get approved or not. Number go up technology is pre-programmed. As the fiat ponzi scam goes down, BTC goes up.
#Bitcoin doesn't care about ETFs, and neither do I ‼️

All these clips going around of Larry Fink talking about #Crypto interchangeably with #Bitcoin makes me think he doesn't understand why massive decentralisation and proof of work make it different, or if he even really understands it at all.
You can't legitimately claim crypto to be a flight to quality, unless you are only referring one or two specific chains. Centralised crypto shitcoins are literally the riskiest assets you can ever put your money in! There is little quality there.
So, he's clearly talking about Bitcoin, because that's the ETF product that his firm is trying to get approved with the SEC, but using the wrong words to explain it. I'm sure he's just regurgitating what he's been told to say by the press team, along with a random and completely irrelevant mention of 'global terrorism', as though that has anything to do with anything.
Larry is the largest individual shareholder, but Blackrock itself only owns 7% of their own company, so there are many other forces at play, and the many bright people behind the scenes are steering the firm in the right direction, despite Larry's word salad.
#Bitcoin doesn't need ETFs, but it always needs a narrative, and this one will do for now. I'll take it! 👌

Common assumption is because technicals look simlar to July 2020, #crypto is about to explode higher.
Parabolic moves take longer than they sound tho. Even the 2019 parabola took more than 6 months.

There are certainly similarities but July 2020 looks significantly steeper and stronger to me, so whilst I think this is a possible scenario, the market still needs to prove itself.

#Ordinals have changed everything. Seeing new participants come into this space and get excited about #Bitcoin is massive and it's awseome!
Every cycle in crypto has new themes and different stories. New chains, new use cases, and all new scams. The only constant is Bitcoin, but who cares?
The crypto industry has slowly drawn interest and capital away, and communities have been built elsewhere.
Every technology company will tell you importance of onboarding young people to your products, and this is why Ordinals are so important for Bitcoin's future.
The tech alone isn't going to do it, and narratives around sound money are frankly just too boring! We need to build communities on Bitcoin, and we need a way to grow our stack without leaving.
Ordinals are how Bitcoin wins.
