nospeak 1.0 is finally here!
nospeak is a private NIP-17 compliant messenger. It is available as native Android app and a Progressive Web App.

Another guy had the same problem, but I can't reproduce this here. Can you check if v0.12.1 (released yesterday) works for you? If not, remove app data and login again?

You're correct, this should be NIP-55. All good.

You can use Amber as a remote signer (NIP-46) or offline / same device (NIP-55). Only the NIP-55 variant is fast enough to decrypt a large quantity of messages. I just checked: It decrypted about 1000 messages in 40 seconds for me.

Hey Derek! 10 minutes are by far too long. It should load history messages for 1 month in this stage. Could it be that one of your messaging relays was slow at this time? Otherwise try to logout (settings/security) and try again.
- Do you have a lot of NIP-17 messages?
- Are you using Amber over relays? (that will be very very slow)

I created a new Nostr based messaging client over the last weeks: nospeak. It supports NIP-17 completely (messages, file messages and reactions), but only 1-on-1 now.
Platform is either Web/PWA or Android. The Android app uses an own background notification task which works fine and (I hope) does not stress the battery too much.
It has NIP-05 verification for users, Blossom support for encrypted media and profile images, location sharing and much more.
Login is possible via NIP-55 (Amber), NIP-07 signer or NSec.

Nice, but I would be happy if at least one of these would work a bit.
* lnw.cash: Blank screen on Android, can't receive anything on desktop. Receive button does nothing
* nuts.cash: No Amber login on Android, crashes browser on desktop
* nutsack.me: no NIP-07 login at all
* highlighter.com: No login on Andreoid possible. New wallet button on desktop does not work.
Any hints? Browser is Firefox on desktop.

Anyone here with deeper knowledge of #LND? My lightning node can't send payments to Alby and says "no_route" all the time. My node is well connected to large nodes so that should not be an issue.
How can I debug this? The "no_route" error appears imedately - maybe some weird caching issue? Restarting LND didn't help.
