So if you don’t trust Blackrock or MSTR then it doesn’t change your relationship to the network protocol at all.
The same blockchain is still going strong 17 years later.
Vitalik started a foundation which can unilaterally adjust the eth blockchain when they decide too. So it requires trust, which is the problem

For instance you think that bitcoin is already centralized.
I’ve heard other BIP110-ers saying that the miners are all compromised.
I think it’s beyond clear at this point that they are not. The only real issue here is minor centralization, but we can see more mining pools come to existence overtime… with more to come as nation states get into this.
Bitcoin is a network of self interested people all fighting for their own interests. The protocol only rewards proof of work.
Perhaps you’re still early to understanding bitcoin or haven’t really done your thousand hours of research into the protocol layer? Sorry to assume that you’re just confused because you haven’t dug deep enough yet, but it seems no one is able to prove what’s wrong with the bitcoin protocol as it is.

It’s partly security through obscurity - which does some good. But a frontier model doesn’t always need the source code to find a weakness. I think he admits this and reminds us he has been using frontier models for awhile to do red teaming
The point about bitcoin core being secure is that when it’s open and has been reviewed thousands of times the bugs get found a squashed.
Yes - I see your point that it’s seemingly contradictory. But you can’t open source proprietary software just for the purpose of making it more secure. He has a software business essentially… like how banks can’t open source either. I bet most software that exists is closed source. But open/closed doesn’t mean secure necessarily (like with cold card)
