Today I saved my intel b580 of getting burned.
I had been playing cyberpunk 2077 for a few days with headphones and noticed that some fan was spinning like crazy and I thought the game was pushing my system to the limit. But then I wanted to find put which one, so I launched hwinfo to find out. Apparently it was the cpu one but the weird thing is that the gpu one was reading 0 rpm. First I thought it was that the program was no detecting it because was outdated. Installed the latest version and same thing. Finally I opened the case and saw the problem right away, the pcie power cable had some how moved and was blocking the gpu fans from turning... Shit.
After moving the cable it is working normally but it has been running a week at 100 C. No warnings. CPUs normally turned themselves off in such cases but here nothing. I hope no long term damage was made.

If they lose google's funding maybe is a good thing. Less resources to waste on politics and full focus on the browser and maybe thunderbird. I would like to see a more technically focused Mozilla, leading the browser landscape instead of being a follower.
Even with today's challenges, Firefox is a great browser, supporting great projects and nothing in this article makes me want to switch.

I would add one exception to this clean-up: channels with all funds on their side. This does not lock up your capital and since probably they opened the channel, your risk and cost is almost zero. Think of the plebs that open their one or two channels until they find an excuse to spend.
