I have quite a lot of glass dip pens but I have to admit I'm pleasantly surprised. It looked like it was going to be sharp and scratchy, but what I got was one of the most well tuned glass pens I've had out of the box, smooth and writing well at all angles. My system is to write out date, pen, nib, ink with the pen and ink in question as I fill them, and I try to strike them out as they get empty or cleaned out but I'm only half successful at that part, so a clean ink log with what's actually filled is a good start of the year. I do tend to have a lot of pens inked at the same time, so the log is necessary, or I won't remember.
