Anyone know anything about plant grafts?
I bought this dwarf cherry tree. The base bit of twig (below the graft line) seems to be absolutely thriving - those leaves are new in the last few weeks.
But presumably only the bit above the graft line is the actual cherry tree and it's something else below?
Should I prune the leaves to encourage it to focus on the top half, or should I leave it as is to grab as much sunlight energy as it can?

I had a couple of mini-revelations since I've been thinking about it.
- After the event, I don't think I even remember the journey. It's such a small part of the trip's experience. I should weight accordingly.
- I spend a lot of energy researching and vacillating over options for *any* online purchase. Maybe this is the obsession. Or at the least, maybe I get mentally stuck when there's no opinions to research when it comes to train times!?

I can't remember if I mentioned: I've had some struggles organising myself recently and I'm yet to fully figure it out.
It manifests as an inability to commit to travel tickets, where maybe I'm 90% sure what my plans will be but I can't sit down to fix it and pay. In the meantime, I get (valid) anxiety that the ticket price is rising or availability will disappear.
Feels a bit like being encased in jelly?
Anyone else have this, know what it is, or suggest coping/reactivation mechanisms?
