When "Hi-Fi" VCRs came to market they were great for making primary recordings of live concerts. The digital tape had lower noise and a higher dynamic range than audio cassette tape (recorders).
With one caveat. You needed to play the tape back on the original VCR it was recorded on to maintain the proper tape alignment with the head in azimuth.
Transfer them to audio cassette or better yet Reel To Reel, use the VCR tape as the master.
They were basically a DAT recorder before there were DAT recorders.

Im not attacking It's A Gundam but the reality is that new release AAA video games cost $70 in the 90s. And they then sometimes sold Expansion Packs (what they were called before DLC) on top of that.
And that's not including inflation. That was 1990s dollars.

Have a small protein snack in the early evening. This will keep you from being hungry. A couple of spoons of peanut butter for example. Another good one is Yogurt with some fresh fruit. Another good snack is a handful of trail mix, not the ones with chocolate M&Ms but the Omega 3 blend.

Here is the truth about knife steel. Most steels are good. All the old steels from the 20th century are good knife steels.
Much more important is the blade and edge geometry of your knife....that brings certain traits to the knife that may be beneficial to your particular use cases.
The 1095 that was used in WW2 to make Kabar USMC Fighting Knives as well as USMC Utility Camp Knives is a great knife steel. You dont need a fancy new steel metallurgy.

Yeah, you can make a stove top creamy cheesy noodles, just adding some milk and cheese into the pot with the drained noodles.
You are just agitating the cheese into the hot milk to create a cheese sauce, which covers coats the noodles.
It's not rocket science.

The milk level is assuming youve filled your pan nearly to the top with macaroni. You want the milk level to be an inch and a half or so below your pasta level, it will expand and rise when it boils, you want to avoid boil over.

The cheddar is the flavor you are wanting, about half melty and half cheddar. The melty cheese makes the sauce, whereas sharp cheddar isnt a good melter, but brings the flavor.

It's easy.
Boil the Macaroni until it's done. Then drain, do not cool.
Into a greased pan, 13x9..whatever you are using. Then add some cubed or shredded melty cheese, Monterey Jack is common in America, that's a good choice. Mozerrella would work. And some Shredded Cheddar (I use American Sharp which is different than UK Cheddar). Stir it all up so that it's incorporated throughout the macaroni.
Then pour some evaporated milk or just plain milk into the pan leaving about an inch to inch and half to the rim.
Top with shredded Cheddar so that it will melt over the top trapping moisture. Then bake at 325 degrees until the top cheese starts browning and you have a good rolling boil of the milk. This boil will melt the cheese and stir it into the milk making a sauce. That sauce will fill the macaroni noodles.
I usually just salt the water of the macaroni. The cheese adds it's own saltiness to the casserole.

Everyone loved the Lasanga. We had Caesar Salad and Garlic Toast with it. Good thing it was a low carb diet cheat day.
