Last Notes npub17rpcw9q4t8cum3kw9a7f63cfvz6wvvg25kuh994mu3vs259svkvs0wuk8n jwadd Goodnight!! npub17rpcw9q4t8cum3kw9a7f63cfvz6wvvg25kuh994mu3vs259svkvs0wuk8n jwadd Yesterday morning I woke up early for our final day in Gulf Shores. I wanted to get some sunrise pics of the beach as a storm approached. After I took my pics, I noticed these sea turtle nest protectors. There were 3 volunteers who were checking them and trying to find new nest areas. They asked if id like to help and I happily said I would. We walked about 3miles around the perimeter of Fort Morgan mainly picking up trash, finding treasures and listening to neat stories about the history of the fort and their service as volunteers. https://blossom.primal.net/e73802f13d380eeebc3f0a246525d08a4da4b6dee9bcc1adcf7e1c1398085af6.jpg npub17rpcw9q4t8cum3kw9a7f63cfvz6wvvg25kuh994mu3vs259svkvs0wuk8n jwadd Let me tell you a little bit about dedication, drive, perseverance and community I had a client consultation yesterday to review a new flower bed install from an inquiring potential customer. I left home early to ensure I'd arive about 15 minutes ahead of meeting time. I like to do this to review the client's name, any meeting points discussed prior, and to scope out the project site unpressured. On my way, I decided to take the back way to avoid the congested traffic. As I headed under the bridge I noticed some fresh gravel was put in place to remedy a recent washout from a flooding rain the week prior. The gravel was placed just after the tunnel under the bridge. I proceded cautiously to try and avoid any damages to my low riding Honda Fit. I must have misjudged how large the gravel pieces were. I felt a large bump and assumed I had bottomed out on the uneven gravel, but proceeded on. No less than 100 yards my oil lights came on which seemed odd to me as I had recently changed my oil. I continued for another 1/2 mile coasting to the stop sign. Then the car shut off. I started it again, pressed in the clutch and gave a little throttle to only hear some obnoxious sounds coming from the engine bay. The car died again in the middle of the intersection. I quickly put the car in neutral, hopped out and pushed it to the side of the road to avoid any traffic disturbance. I thought quickly, "I still have time to make it the client consultation. I can call my wife for the rescue after, but I'll have to walk the remaining 1/2 mile by foot on this 95º day." So, that's just what I did. I power walked to the house to ensure I was still on time. I had a very successful meeting with a wonderful client who was spunky and fun. Following the meeting, I had my wife pick me up so I could grab the truck and trailer to rescue the car. At this time I still wasn't sure what was wrong with it. I just knew it wasn't drivable. As I gathered the gear for the rescue I had to be prepared for some redneck ingenuity as i only had my 7yo daughter and myself for muscle to try and get the car into the trailer. On our way back, I decided to take the same route as previous to see if any parts had fallen off or if i could see any clues as to what may have happened. As i approached the gravel section, I immediately noticed a long oil streak in the road. I knew this was from my car. I didn't see any parts laying around but did notice some larger rocks in the cap of the road. We pulled up to the car and I began to inspect closer to ID any damage. I was instantly surprised by a rather large hole in the oil pan. One of the larger rocks must have pierced the pan as i went through the fresh layed gravel. I began trying to push the car onto the trailer to no avail. I decided to try and attach a ratchet strap to use as a makeshift winch. No sooner than I got the strap out of the truck, 3 very helpful people had stopped and offered a helping had. I eagerly accepted and introduced myself. We had the car pushed onto the trailer in no time without any troubles. I graciously thanked them for the help and they all said they were pleased to help someone in need. They were gone almost as fast as they showed up. I had a moment to think how luck I was to have people around who still care about community and offer a helping hand when people are in need. Its easy to get lost in the division we're being bombarded with, but know, there are good people out there and I believe its the larger percentage of the population. #community #grownostr #grind https://blossom.primal.net/eb8d373df083e288d3272db42cdf59d5f0e3617f2e0ba314c8bb53b52e9bb2ef.jpg npub17rpcw9q4t8cum3kw9a7f63cfvz6wvvg25kuh994mu3vs259svkvs0wuk8n jwadd That's an awesome setup npub17rpcw9q4t8cum3kw9a7f63cfvz6wvvg25kuh994mu3vs259svkvs0wuk8n jwadd IDK the spicy sweet chili hit pretty hard npub17rpcw9q4t8cum3kw9a7f63cfvz6wvvg25kuh994mu3vs259svkvs0wuk8n jwadd I thought the Jerusalem Artichokes had all died the first year i planted them. Today we stopped by a client's property to check on the progress of their raised bed garden, and things are looking fantastic! From tiny seeds just a few weeks ago to healthy, thriving vegetables, it's exciting to see the transformation taking place. Our goal isn't just to build garden beds and walk away. We partner with families through the entire process—from planning and planting to harvesting and troubleshooting along the way. Whether it's adjusting watering, improving soil health, managing pests naturally, or simply answering questions, we're here to help ensure success. These five raised beds are already producing impressive growth, and we're just getting started. Have you ever wanted to grow your own food but weren't sure where to begin? That's exactly why we created this program. What would you grow if you had your own raised bed garden? 👇 Tell us in the comments. #OrganixLandscapes #GrowWithYou #grownostr https://blossom.primal.net/f731f68365f882f3e1ddfe1620897faf7a9c5daf3b2c509e3810d5876bac9757.jpg https://blossom.primal.net/39a1875a345141f21abc7025f72c80fecf5cdc8bb173de33fa5de2311d045728.jpg https://blossom.primal.net/4233a7efbba7d16adcc6720617ed5dbd92c45610184417ffb1c565a935c5011b.jpg https://blossom.primal.net/32884ff6bd7a60baaad9d019915ffbd5601a5c95cd750218f263d22a7904e967.jpg https://blossom.primal.net/8b5d014b9e3f123e0018a2d83dd3c3f42fe3e7f39cc029d7eb681d94f315d64f.jpg https://blossom.primal.net/54db1b1c72612dbba9e25ab0bf43fce2ee2e3b8b2df967178a3d5e8171c884b2.jpg npub17rpcw9q4t8cum3kw9a7f63cfvz6wvvg25kuh994mu3vs259svkvs0wuk8n jwadd Birthday challenge: I'm turning another year older today. 🎂 https://npub17rpcw9q4t8cum3kw9a7f63cfvz6wvvg25kuh994mu3vs259svkvs0wuk8n.blossom.band/5d4cf5cecd34900f46ba8a248feec19872307d145664db2142f148264d6cee2a.jpg Reply with: 🟠 1 piece of wisdom ⚡️ 21 sats (or whatever you can spare) 😂 Your best meme I'll consider the day a success if I get all three. Today our IT group found out that the whole dept will be outsourced to another company. They are offering about half the positions than there are staff. I could see this writing on the wall as the last 6 months to a year has been nothing but probing and inventory from our parent company. Ironically, I'm not very distraught about the situation. See, I've been building my business for 6 years now and officially on the books the last three. I continue to build my skill sets in various other aspects to make sure I am always a valuable asset. Call it a prepper mindset, call me a go-getter, call me a polymath. Whatever you want to call it, I'm grateful for the choices I've made to allow this situation to be more of an opportunity than a hindrance. I'm now left with a choice to apply for a potential position at said Outsourcing company, find a job elsewhere, or take this opportunity to dive head first into full-fledged entrepreneurship. The choice between security and freedom. This is ultimately the hardest Choice people have to make not necessarily when it comes to a career but in all aspects of life. I'm at the point where I'm tired of the corporate game, tired of trying to prove my worth and tired of being one of the only employees who gives a shit. It feels like this is my opportunity to put everything into myself see if I really have what it takes to be a full-time entrepreneur instead of having three side gigs. The scary part is I have 5 other people depending on my success so failure isn't an option. Big choices are coming and I'm excited to have these opportunities. #dailythoughts #gogetem npub17rpcw9q4t8cum3kw9a7f63cfvz6wvvg25kuh994mu3vs259svkvs0wuk8n jwadd Finally got around to repairing the greenhouse. Got the swale widened and looking good. The loft beds... uggg they are kicking my ass. Decided to use some free wood which ended up taking 2x longer. All the lumber needed to be planed down and sanded before working with it. Progress was made though. Both bases are fully built and one has been stained. Tomorrow I'll stain the other and try to get one installed. #nevent1q…qetm https://blossom.primal.net/4c394b91b6c86a3deb7391c211400ff04b7b37e396a9624e35acbc6a71fbba88.jpg https://blossom.primal.net/7465b90682c99fbf2ecff5069569389c5e08af41be1ed8a0f8ad9cf953d31ba1.jpg
