I am moving to a usage-based billing
Dear employer, I will no longer charger a flat monthly salary, instead I will move to token based billing. Included will be every token I receive as input, including but not limited to emails, slack messages, spoken words and mandatory multi-modal meetings that could have been emails. Included will also be output tokens in the form of code, documentation and small talk. Tokens will also be consumed by my internal monolog as I reason about problems.

Ifølge revidert nasjonalbudsjett så forventer regjeringen å bruke 21.5 milliarder kroner på Norgespris. Om disse pengene hadde blitt omfordelt til alle i Norge (som er MDGs forslag) så hadde det blitt 3 800,- per person, eller 15 200,- til en familie på fire.
Ifølge Tibber så er det estimert at vi kommer til å bruke 17 000,- på strøm i år. Med Norgespris blir dette til 7 000,- som betyr at vi hadde spart mer penger ved omfordeling enn med Norgespris!

Hva er planen til #høyre #frp og #senterpartiet når de har fjernet avgiftene og prisene fortsetter å øke? Skal de da gi subsidier til folk som bruker bensin og diesel?

Veldig bra at det har blitt budsjett enighet og bra jobba til mdg som har tatt første skritt på veien til nasjonalt månedskort, men kan vi droppe Norges- prefiksen? Først Norgespris, så Norgeskort, Rødt får vel på plass Norgestann og Senterpartiet Norgeshelse. Alle politiske seiere kan ikke hete Norgesgreie, vi høres ut som en gjeng nasjonalister!

nowadays most browsers have double focus rings by default, so working around that makes it worse, not better.

we had some complex custom css that tried to add double focus rings, but it was too difficult to maintain and conflicted with other styles, so we just removed all of it and decided to rely on the native focus outline instead. It looks like everything else on the users device so the user is used to seeing it already.

I tried to start off #NoEffortNovember with a blog post on making a live-reload plugin in webpack, but in the 3 years since I last wrote anything in my blog the static site generator has rotted away and now fails with a million error messages. Fixing the dependency nightmare that is npm and react is way to much effort for November. Maybe I'll just create a static html page without a build step, to be future proof?

they also have this one, if you are up for a DIY solution. I just received it and I'm working on an esp32-s3 board so that it can be battery powered. I've made a prototype that rotates random images from a Google photos album from our wedding every hour, and it lasts about 2 months on 1200mAh.
