I see where the issue is we are focused on different problems. Also I don’t believe Climate change isn’t real multiple scientists have spoken out about it but the government funded scientists ridicule them because if they don’t they lose their funding. Your only valid argument is the AI argument that is also a concern of mine that is only increased because I know Governments will weaponizing it. I’m talking about geopolitics and economics specifically the US as that’s where I live. You can’t possibly believe that declaring Isis a terrorist organization then turning around a few years later and funding that same terrorist organization is something intelligent people do.
This conversation isn’t really going anywhere you trust governments I don’t we won’t change our stances on this I think bitcoin needs to be protected from giving governments a reason to ban it is all. it doesn’t have to be bip110 but something needs to be done temporarily while in it’s adoption that’s just my opinion.

Look with context this conversation is pointless that context being the train has took off you can’t stop it. Bitcoin is still in the station they can absolutely destroy the station and the train goes nowhere.
The only things I know (I don’t know if it’s accurate) increasing OP return was to help with fees to incentivize and decreasing it was to prevent spam and keep fees from skyrocketing.
Now I don’t know if this is true but I read an article that said it had no affect on fees and the debate was pointless
So increasing does nothing and decreasing does nothing in terms of fees but that just goes back to shouldn’t we prevent certain material, at least for now while bitcoin is in it’s adoption phase, from being stored.
View it from the context of Edward Snowden. Published some documents he is a hero and exposed war crimes but is a criminal in the eyes of the US Government.

What happens if illegal content is stored? Could it not trigger something that essentially makes Bitcoin illegal. If the goal is to make bitcoin money shouldn’t we protect against bad actors? Or is it possible to create a filter to prevent illegal content to be stored.

Hey @nprofile…69x7 I have 2 suggestion I hope you can implement into the pay with bitcoin map.
1.) Could you add the companies website on there? Majority of the places I can spend are restaurants/food trucks. I’d like to see their menu before choosing where to go.
2.) Could you add a type of photo album that shows the actual business? I ran into an issue yesterday when I went to a place that said it was a food truck catering service. I didn’t see a food truck at that specific location but down the street there was another food truck I don’t know if they moved but I didn’t want to go ask because then I’d feel obligated to eat there if it wasn’t them.
