This donation fund is currently being held and has not yet been distributed. The plan to provide assistance in the form of a laying hen farm has been cancelled and will not be pursued, due to various technical challenges that make it difficult to manage.
I made this decision after having a long discussion with a friend of mine who runs a laying hen business. He shared many insights about the significant challenges involved, as well as the level of responsibility and experience required to manage poultry in the long term.

What is Bitcoin? Only one disaster survivor was curious enough to ask about Bitcoin during my journey distributing aid across five areas affected by floods and landslides in Aceh.
Time was limited, which was a real constraint. We all know that understanding Bitcoin is a long journey that can take years.
In Sawang, North Aceh, there was a survivor named Taufiq. He was very enthusiastic about hearing my explanation of Bitcoin. I talked about the history of money, the cruelty of inflation, and how Bitcoin can be a solution.
I repeatedly emphasized that Bitcoin is not a tool for getting rich, but a tool for preserving wealth. No matter how much wealth someone has, what matters is that no one can steal it or debase the value of the hard-earned results of their labor.
I am truly grateful to be able to distribute donation aid from Bitcoiners. The survivors—aside from Taufiq—were also surprised when I told them that the aid I brought came from donations from all over the world.
“The President of Indonesia, Prabowo, may be able to stop foreign aid for disaster victims,” I said, “but no one can stop Bitcoin.”

PoW: Donation Distribution – Phase 5
Distributing donation aid to flood victims in Riseh Teungoh, Riseh Baroh, and Gunci villages in North Aceh Regency.
We brought kitchen supplies such as frying pans and cooking pots, school bags, snacks for children, a power generator, and religious items.
These villages are located in remote areas, about a 40-minute drive from the main national road. Gunci Village is currently still isolated, as the bridge to the village was destroyed by the flood, and residents now use boats to return to their homes.
Riseh Teungoh Village was severely affected by the flood. Most of the densely populated residential area was completely wiped out and replaced by a new river flow.

Donation Distribution Plan — Phase 05
Riseh Teungoh Village, Sawang Subdistrict, North Aceh Regency, Aceh, Indonesia
The disaster on November 26, 2025, also affected Riseh Teungoh Village. A flash flood struck almost all houses in the village.
Around 90% of the village was impacted by the flood disaster. Public facilities were completely destroyed, 47 houses were swept away by the flood, and the remaining houses were severely damaged. The former residential area has now been replaced by a new river formed after the disaster.
The residents of Riseh Teungoh Village not only lost their homes and belongings, but also lost their land.
Today, 58 days after the disaster, the victims are still living in temporary evacuation tents. The government response has been slow, even though the flood disaster is closely linked to government policies that allowed forest land to be cleared for oil palm plantations by companies. There is no longer a forest ecosystem to absorb rainwater.
My team and I plan to bring kitchen equipment for the displaced families, as they urgently need tools for daily cooking. We will also provide other household necessities so they can begin rebuilding their lives after the disaster.

Plebs, I set aside a small donation from you for a child who is a victim of the flood disaster. Unfortunately, he was involved in a traffic accident while playing with his friend in the small alley in front of his house.
The 2-year-old child is now being treated in intensive care at Meuraxa Hospital, Banda Aceh (the capital of Aceh Province). He has undergone four operations on the left side of his skull, which was torn after being hit by a motorcycle. The perpetrator showed no responsibility after the accident.
The child’s mother, Juliana, explained that her child had the accident while playing with his friend, while Juliana and her husband were cleaning their home that had been submerged in mud after the flood struck their village of Meunasah Trieng, North Aceh (about 6–7 hours from Banda Aceh).
At first, the child was treated at a local hospital in North Aceh before being referred to a better facility in the provincial capital for critical pediatric care.
My team and I from Bitcoin For Humanity stopped by to talk with Juliana when we delivered a small amount of aid in the form of baby formula and diapers for the child. We also purchased rice, drinking water, and some instant noodles to support the parents’ food needs while staying at the hospital.
Before leaving the hospital, I also gave cash to Juliana so she would have money to buy necessities while staying there. She doesn’t have a home to return to in the capital, and her husband is just a regular farmer with limited means.
Total donation amount for the child and the family of the flood disaster victim: IDR 843,400 (≈ USD 50).

Before the disaster struck, Kelitu Sintep Village was well known for producing high-quality avocados. The fruits were large, with thick flesh and great taste.
Sadly, the landslide destroyed dozens of hectares of avocado plantations owned by farmers in Kelitu Sintep. They now have to start planting again from scratch.
My team and I from Bitcoin for Humanity were given avocados as a gift by the landslide survivors, as a few of the plantations were still spared from the disaster.

Trauma Healing for Disaster-Affected Children in Kelitu Sintep
In Kelitu Sintep Village, Central Aceh, after delivering the donations, we invited the children to take part in fun challenge games, where they came forward and showed their skills. The activities continued with a movie screening about the environment titled “The Forest Guardians.”
After the movie, the children answered questions about the characters and the story. Those who answered correctly received snacks as rewards.

Notes:
Blang Rakal Village was not originally included in the distribution plan. However, during our journey, we coincidentally met a village official from Blang Rakal who informed us about six disaster survivors whose homes near the river were completely destroyed by flooding. We then purchased and delivered basic food supplies for them.
In Kelitu Sintep and Uning Mas, we also distributed ready-to-eat meals (traditional Acehnese food). These food purchases were not funded by Bitcoiners’ donations, but were entrusted by other donors. We collaborated in distributing them together to the victims.
Additional basic food supplies were also delivered to friends who are disaster victims living in Bener Meriah and Takengon. We managed to visit some of their homes, though not all. There were about five people in total, each receiving one bag of rice and one tray of eggs. For those we could not visit, the supplies were left at a designated pickup location.

Uning Mas Village, Pintu Rime Gayo Subdistrict, Bener Meriah Regency, Indonesia. Sunday, January 11, 2026.
After delivering aid to Kelitu Sintep Village in Central Aceh, the next day—Sunday, January 11, 2026—we continued to Uning Mas Village in Bener Meriah (a neighboring regency of Central Aceh). In Uning Mas, we distributed the same type of assistance as in Sintep: rice cooking pots, frying pans, blankets, and prayer mats.
“That’s exactly what we really need right now,” said one of the women affected by the landslide in Uning Mas. Earlier, I approached them at the evacuation site and told them that I had brought some assistance in the form of kitchen supplies.
Uning Mas was also affected by a disaster on November 27, 2025—not flooding, but a severe landslide.
The village, located at the foot of a hill, was hit by a massive landslide unlike anything they had experienced before. As a result, 49 houses were completely destroyed. Residents only had time to save themselves, without being able to bring anything. One person lost their life.
“We have to rebuild our lives from zero again. Our homes are gone, and our farmland has been destroyed,” said a man I spoke with about their situation after the disaster.
Uning Mas is a remote highland village built along hilly slopes. Traveling to Uning Mas requires extra caution. Along the way, we encountered many road sections that had previously been buried by landslides, as well as collapsed bridges. The residents later built temporary bridges so that aid could still be accessed by four-wheeled vehicles.
Some residents of Uning Mas who no longer have homes are now living in government-provided evacuation tents, while others are staying with relatives.
We did not have much time to talk with them. Our arrival was close to nightfall, and the difficult road access—unfriendly for four-wheeled vehicles due to landslide debris in several spots—combined with overcast weather, forced us to return shortly after delivering the aid.

Saturday, January 10, 2026
Kelitu Sintep is one of the villages affected by the floods and landslides that struck Aceh and parts of Sumatra on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
This village, located on a hillside area, was hit by flash floods and landslides carrying large logs and massive rocks, striking nearly half of the village. Thirty-two houses were affected, 18 of which were completely destroyed along with all their contents, swept away by the landslide. Fortunately, there were no fatalities.
The ecological disaster not only wiped out residents’ homes, but also destroyed dozens of hectares of farmland planted with coffee and fruit trees. The village is well known for producing high-quality avocados.
Today, some residents who are still traumatized have chosen to stay in evacuation tents, even though their homes were only lightly damaged. They are afraid to return to houses located on the hillsides, as rain continues to fall frequently. The fear of landslides, and the haunting sound of rushing water carrying logs and rocks from the hills, is hard for them to forget.
Residents whose homes were completely lost are still staying in evacuation shelters while waiting for good news from the government regarding the rebuilding of their homes. The situation remains difficult—the village no longer feels as safe and comfortable as it once did, and the threat of another disaster during the rainy season still looms. Hopefully, no further disasters will occur.
My team and I from Bitcoin For Humanity brought household aid, including blankets, frying pans, cooking pots for rice, prayer mats, and snacks for children.
Next, we will continue distributing aid to Uning Mas Village in Bener Meriah, a neighboring regency to Central Aceh.

I have already sent several boxes of donated supplies to Bener Meriah and Aceh Tengah. I shipped them earlier to save on transportation costs. A local team there will receive the packages.
My team and I will follow later. We only have one vehicle, and the donation items would not fit if we carried them together with us.
In total, there are 12 boxes of various sizes containing:
- 79 school backpacks
- 71 blankets
- 100 frying pans
- 31 prayer mats
- 30 steamer pots
- 24 regular cooking pots
Along the way, we will also purchase additional necessities such as rice and supplies for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.
We plan to distribute the donations to two villages: Uning Mas (Bener Meriah) and Sintep (Aceh Tengah). Both villages were affected by floods and landslides, with some homes completely destroyed.

Different victims face different fates; different places face different post-disaster challenges. In general, if people rely only on themselves, recovery takes a very long time—years.
If they depend on government assistance, it might be faster. But can the government really be relied upon?
The government already has so many unresolved problems in non-disaster areas. I don’t know whether they truly care or not, but when you see the fate of the victims, anyone would condemn how painfully slow the response has been.
And looking ahead, there is still the looming threat of floods and landslides happening again in the affected areas. Just recently (January 7), flooding in East Aceh reached shoulder height once again. 🤦

Shopping for essential supplies for flood victims in Aceh.
We are planning to distribute aid to Uning Mas Village, Bener Meriah. This village was hit by a flash flood, and all houses were completely destroyed. The residents are now rebuilding their lives from zero and are currently taking refuge in other villages.

My team and I (a total of 5 people) traveled from Banda Aceh to Aceh Tamiang by car, which took approximately 9–10 hours one way. The round trip took around 18–20 hours.
The donation distribution to Aceh Tamiang took 3 days. We stayed overnight in Langsa before continuing the journey to Aceh Tamiang. After completing the distribution, we returned directly from Aceh Tamiang to Banda Aceh.

PoW: Delivering Aid to Flood Victims in Aceh Tamiang (Phase 03)
My team and I (a total of five people) distributed equipment to help clean mud left behind by the floods to victims affected by the ecological disaster. The cleaning tools included shovels, hoes, and boots.
In addition to cleaning equipment, we also distributed household necessities for evacuees, such as sarongs, mosquito nets, prayer mats, and mukenas.
I purchased 15 units of each item, adjusted to the amount of donations received. The donations were distributed in Matang Teupah Village, Bendahara Subdistrict, Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh, Indonesia.
The aid was received directly by one of the affected victims named Zakaria Adnan, whom I call Jack. He shared many painful experiences from when the disaster happened.
“At first, the floodwater reached our knees, but the rain didn’t stop for days. Before the water submerged our house, I evacuated first, bringing my wife and children to higher ground.”
“Unfortunately, there was no place left that wasn’t flooded, because all the land was submerged. When we slept, the ground beneath us was water. After a week, the water receded, and I returned home to find my house and everything inside covered in mud.”
“During the flood, there was a corpse floating right in front of me. The strong current made it impossible for me to evacuate it. It was heartbreaking—we ate whatever the water carried to us, and we lived 28 days without electricity.”
I entrusted the aid to Jack’s house, and he will then distribute it to other victims according to the evacuees’ needs.
“I am very grateful to the Bitcoin donors. This aid is extremely valuable and truly needed by the victims to rebuild their lives,” Jack said with a happy expression.
I asked him about the weather, which is still bad, with frequent heavy rain, and whether he is afraid that another flood might come.
“Of course, when it rains, we can’t sleep comfortably. The fear is always there. I will evacuate again and leave everything behind. I hope the flood disaster will not happen again,” he said.

I am currently waiting for direct confirmation of the most urgent needs from the affected victims themselves. The next planned distribution of aid will be delivered to Aceh Tamiang, one of the districts most severely impacted by the disaster.
Attached below is a photo showing the total sats collected so far. 100% of the donations will be distributed to flood victims in Aceh, Indonesia.
In Aceh Tamiang, some homes have already been cleaned and are now habitable again for survivors. However, hundreds of houses were completely destroyed by the floods, and thousands of victims are currently living in temporary evacuation tents.
Many volunteers from various groups have been helping since the early days of the disaster. However, the scale of this catastrophe—one that should have been declared a national disaster (but was not)—is still far from being adequately addressed to restore this ecological disaster.
I am acting independently to raise donations from the Bitcoin community, while staying coordinated with fellow volunteers and directly affected victims, many of whom are my own friends.
With the sats donations from all of you, plebs, I will do my best to ensure the aid reaches those who truly need it most, so they can begin rebuilding their lives after the disaster.

PoW: Installation of Water Pipeline in Bener Meriah, Aceh
Plebs, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, residents of Bener Meriah carried out community work to install a water pipeline. Previously, a severe landslide had struck the area, destroying their only source of clean water.

Fauzan, one of the villagers there, thanked me, and I told him that the money I sent was a donation from Bitcoiners on Nostr.
“If that’s the case, please tell them that the residents of Rembele Village are grateful to the Bitcoiners,” he said via WhatsApp message.
Now, one month after the disaster, the residents of Rembele Village can once again access clean water flowing directly into their homes for daily needs such as washing, cooking, and sanitation.
Previously, they had to walk more than two kilometers to carry water for daily use, and even then, a single trip was not enough for one family.
Frustrated by the government’s slow response in helping to repair the water supply, they finally took action themselves—pooling their own funds and seeking help from outside.
In the end, they managed to purchase a total of 300 pipes (each pipe is 5.80 meters long and 3 inches thick). Of these, 22 pipes were funded by the donation I sent to them in cash.
They purchased the pipes from a store in another district. As residents living in the highlands, they are no longer isolated. Main roads and bridges damaged by floods and landslides have been temporarily repaired at several critical points, allowing them to be crossed carefully.

The Condition of Victims One Month After the Disaster
On Friday, December 26, 2025, I rode in my friend’s car as we went deeper into villages severely affected by flooding in Meurah Dua District, Pidie Jaya. We passed through two neighboring villages along the way.
Exactly one month after the floods, the victims can only rely on themselves. Every day, little by little, they dig and remove the soil that has buried their homes, using only basic tools.
Some houses are buried under one meter of soil, while others are covered by nearly three meters. Some residents have already given up—exhausted and resigned, unable to shovel soil that has hardened to such depths.
Other villagers dig into their homes just to retrieve items needed to survive. It looks like a treasure hunt, but in reality they are only searching for a frying pan to cook, or basic household necessities. For now, they can only live crowded together in evacuation tents.
The flash floods that struck Aceh and Sumatra on November 26, 2025, were not ordinary floods. The raging waters carried not only mud, but also massive logs. After the water receded, soil and timber piled up, as if swallowing entire homes.
The damage is not only material. Water sources have also been lost—wells are buried and dried up. To this day, access to clean water remains extremely difficult. Emergency wells are only available at evacuation centers. Some remote villages still have no electricity.
My volunteer team and I are currently surveying the area to provide access to clean water. Several ideas are already being discussed, including the costs involved. At this moment, clean water is the most urgent need for flood victims. Water is the source of life—without it, life comes to a standstill.
If you are wondering whether a government with vast resources is incapable of handling this disaster—
I don’t know. Whether they are incapable, or simply unwilling.

Story:
After Pidie Jaya, I allocated part of the donations to the community of Rembele Village, Bukit District, Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh, Indonesia. This highland area was severely affected by a major disaster on November 25, 2025.
As of today—29 days after the disaster—the area remains isolated. The main roads are cut off due to landslides, and bridges were destroyed by heavy flooding. The only fast way to reach the area is by air—by helicopter or small aircraft.
For now, residents are surviving with whatever they can manage. Their most urgent need is access to clean water. The floods and landslides destroyed their only water source. The pipes that supplied water to homes were completely damaged, and many springs were buried by landslides. As a result, residents must walk nearly two kilometers to collect clean water for daily needs.
Because aid from the central government has not arrived to rebuild the water system, villagers have begun working together to restore water access on their own. Fauzan, my older brother is one of the residents there. He survived the floods and landslides, and now they urgently need pipes to rebuild the water channel.
They need more than 800 meters of pipes to reach the water source. The community has raised funds independently, but it is not enough to cover all needs amid the hardship following the disaster. Plebs, I set aside part of your sats donations and sent them to my brother so he and the villagers can begin rebuilding the water system as soon as possible. They will purchase the required pipes locally.
They are still short of 80 pipes. Each pipe costs IDR 150,000. I have sent IDR 3,000,000 in cash, enough to buy 20 pipes—which is still far from sufficient, leaving a shortage of 40 more pipes.
“Whatever funds we have, it’s okay—we’ll try to find donations elsewhere,” my brother said.
I truly wanted to go there myself and deliver the needed supplies directly, but the only fast access is by air, which I cannot afford. Traveling by land would take many days on foot, crossing hills as alternative routes, since most main roads are severely damaged by landslides.

The floods have hit again!
On the same day, Wednesday, December 24, 2025, after I delivered aid from Nostr Plebs, heavy rain fell again in the afternoon across Pidie Jaya and several other regencies.

Phase 1 Donation Spending Report & Current Cash Balance
Plebs, as a form of responsibility and transparency in managing the relief funds from all Plebs, I’m sharing screenshots of urgent items purchased for flood survivors in Teupin Raya village, Pidie Jaya, Aceh.
Quick breakdown:
Total donations collected:
15,020,267 IDR (≈ USD 894)
Total spending on supplies and urgent needs:
9,859,000 IDR (≈ USD 587)
Remaining donation balance in my personal local bank account:

The remaining donations are planned to be distributed to other villages, based on urgent needs for flood survivors in Aceh.

PoW: Delivering Aid to Flood Victims in Pidie Jaya, Aceh
Plebs, today I personally delivered part of the donated aid from all of you to the victims of the flash floods in Aceh, Indonesia—specifically in Teupin Pukat village, Meurah Dua District (Mereudu). The remaining donations will be distributed to other villages that were also severely affected.
The aid was received directly by the head of Teupin Pukat village, Mulyadi (wearing the green shirt on the far left).
Together with his team, he expressed deep gratitude to Bitcoiners, even though they do not fully understand how Bitcoin aid works or how it reached them. What amazed them most was when I told them that this help came from abroad.

FYI:
Previously, there were reports that the Indonesian government rejected aid from other countries that wanted to help disaster victims in Sumatra. In local media, Indonesian officials claimed they were capable of handling the disaster. However, in reality, the government response has been slow and appears neglectful. The affected people are deeply disappointed.

The items they received, which I purchased and delivered, were:
10 hoes
10 shovels
10 pairs of tall rubber boots
10 wheelbarrows

After receiving the aid, they immediately used the tools to work together, cleaning places of worship and their own homes that were buried under soil after the floods. Many houses are no longer habitable, forcing residents to stay in emergency tents.
The village officials of Teupin Pukat were happy and relieved to receive aid that truly matched their urgent needs.
I asked the village head about the village budget and assistance from the central government.
He sighed and said, “As a newly elected village head, I don’t have the freedom to use state funds. Only a very small portion can be disbursed, and even that requires complicated and slow bureaucracy.”
He continued, “The central government, which holds the real authority, only tells us to be patient. Aid has not arrived, so we are forced to move on our own and seek help from anywhere,” he said with a disappointed expression.
Today marks 28 days after the flood disaster. If the Indonesian government had handled the disaster properly, these communities would not have needed to seek recovery assistance from others.

Banda Aceh ke Pidie Jaya butuh waktu sekitar 3 jam perjalanan. Uang 15 itu tidak seberapa dengan dampak yang sangat mengerikan. Fokus kami menyumbang alat untuk membersihkan rumah korban yang tertimbun tanah, mulai dari selutut ada juga rumah yg tertimbun sampai ke loteng. Bayangkan ada ratusan rumah yg perlu digali rumah nya, mereka masuk rumah sendiri seperti masuk goa. Ada yang bingung gk sanggup gali, mau ninggalin tapi gak memungkinkan. Rumah lain tidak ada, mau bangun ulang gk ada uang.
Kami fokus membekali korban dengan peralatan cangkul, sekop, sorongan, sepatu bot, mereka mau menggali tapi terkendala perlengkapan. Inilah fokus kami dan juga sudah diskusi dengan kepala desa yang akan kami kunjungi besok.

Plebs, today we discussed and decided that tomorrow, Tuesday, December 23, 2025, we will depart to distribute the sats donations from all of you to the victims of the floods and landslides in Aceh, specifically in Pidie Jaya Regency.
The victims whose homes were buried by soil after the floods urgently need equipment to clean their houses. We have already ordered the necessary tools. Tomorrow, we depart.
The total donation that has been converted into rupiah amounts to 1,000,901 sats, approximately 15 million IDR or around USD 895.
I was moved to do this because Bitcoin cannot be stopped by governments. Previously, our government was slow in responding to this ecological disaster. Even worse, the government refused aid from other countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, China, and several other Middle Eastern countries.
I believe Bitcoin is the only form of aid that is fast, effective, and borderless. However, trust is what truly matters here. I may not be trusted, but the sats donations I have received will be distributed. Photos and videos will be the only proof of the work I have done to help my brothers and sisters here who are suffering after the disaster.
I’m still accepting sats donations. Once enough is collected, I will proceed with the second withdrawal phase. Thank you beyond words from all of us, Aceh plebs.

I have converted Bitcoin to IDR through a local Indonesian CEX.

All funds in IDR have been received in my local bank account under my name.

DONATION REPORT – PHASE 01
As of Monday, December 22, 2025, at 2:21 PM (WIB), Aceh, Indonesia.
Total donations collected: 1,001,666 sats
All sats from my two Wallet of Satoshi wallets were transferred to my Muun Wallet, totaling 1,001,611 sats, with a Lightning network fee of 3,001 sats.
Remaining donation balance: 55 sats
Next step: conversion to Indonesian rupiah.
First withdrawal phase:
1,001,611 sats were sent from my Muun Wallet to Reku (a local centralized exchange), resulting in 1,000,901 sats after an on-chain fee of 710 sats. (Still waiting for block confirmation at the time of this post)
Next: final phase.
Bitcoin will be converted into Indonesian rupiah and transferred to my local bank account. After that, my team and fellow Bitcoiners here will purchase the required equipment and deliver the donated goods directly to flood disaster victims in Pidie Jaya, Aceh, Indonesia.
Further reports, including equipment purchases and other necessary items, will be updated here.
