Korea's government has invested heavily in its startup ecosystem through non-dilutive grants, and a lot of founders in the room had taken them. Ethan wasn't here to shame anyone for that -- but he was willing to name the downside that most people won't.

His argument: desperation, when channeled correctly, is rocket fuel. When a startup has enough runway from a government grant to survive mediocrity, some of them do exactly that. They settle. It used to be a 1 person automation could easily eliminate 100s of people, today it really feels like AI easily replacing 1000s in a matter of days or weeks. Feels like the 2027 forecast is still on track... not sure the 2040 plan is within our possibility anymore, but you can read it if you want.

Uh……unless nostrhub has completely changed since last fall, the principle behind it is very meta —- effectively Its decentralizing nostr nips across the nostr network
You use nostrhub or any fork of it to publish custom nips across any set of Relays to promote your custom nip. People can up vote your proposal and last i checked Comment or zap a nip proposal
You can also fork it and use it anyway you want.
