i think people are massively underestimating this message, and it extrapolates beyond the devs (although shoutout the devs and this is certainly relevant for them).
building something and putting it out into the world invites the audience (i.e anyone) into your life. your gift of self is left to interpretation by anyone and everyone.
there are only two goals from that point on - preserve your gift, and share it as long as you can.
