With four white Madison cops on him, one cop pulled out his firearm and shot the victim in the head at least three times at point blank range. This is a public execution. They say 10M pets are lost per year & their service finds "more than 1 dog per day." So let's even say generously 500 dogs per year.

On this day on Feb. 5, 1917, Congress passed the Immigration Act of 1917 to block “undesirable” immigrants. That meant a ban on Asian, Mexician, and Mediterranean migrants, literacy tests, new taxes, & excluded the poor, disabled, & criminalized.
Meanwhile white European migrants were welcomed with open arms & given land via Homestead Act.
This racist law was finally repealed in 1952.
Trump wants to revive this fascism. Do not let him.

The Senate has rejected the House bill to extend ACA subsidies for 3 years, thereby ensuring healthcare prices are about to skyrocket for millions.
Take note of two facts:
1. Republicans have no healthcare plan and Americans will die as a result of them blocking ACA subsidies.
2. ACA Subsidies exist because Republicans and Corporate Democrats are both bought by the health insurance industry to block universal healthcare as a human right.

Yesterday, I witnessed NYC’s mayor, Zohran Mamdani, take his oath on the Holy Qur’an. As an American Muslim, the joy & reverence I felt watching the moment is hard to describe.

Spoke to a friend today who is a tenured professor of neuroscience. I asked him about Trump’s anti-science campaign & his attacks on universities?
He replied, I don’t think Americans realize that even if we somehow stopped Trump now, he’s already set the USA back at least 20-30 years in scientific research. And given he still has 3 more years, we may not recover from this for half a century or more.

Florida state Rep Hillary Cassel, who used to be a Democrat but flipped and joined the MAGA Republican Party, has introduced legislation to "ban Shariah law in America."
1. What is this 2011?
2. Shariah means law so you're saying "Law Law."
3. If you ban Islamic Shariah you also have to ban the First Amendment— which protects religious freedom.

I'm in Chicago. I'm getting reports that ICE fascists are occupying MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL, which is under the Loyola and Trinity Health systems.
The patient is allegedly under ICE custody. ICE is in plain clothes while wearing their firearm on their hip—in a hospital.
Previous administrations banned ICE fascists from sensitive areas like hospitals, shelters, and houses of worship. This regime has zero regard for basic human decency.

Last month Judge Diane Goodstein ruled against the Trump regime, and blocked the State of South Carolina from giving millions of voter data files to the DOJ.
Last week Harmeet Dhillon of Trump's DOJ openly condemned Judge Goodstein's ruling in a tweet.
Yesterday Trump lackey Stephen Miller called "left wing judges & lawyers" as "terrorists" requiring force to rebuke.
Today this is Judge Goodstein's home, on fire, and being investigated for arson.

IL Gov JB Pritzker has shared that Trump called him to demand he activate the National Guard in Illinois, or Trump will activate the National Guard himself.
Illinois is at 310 per 100K in violent crime rate, well below the national average of 374 per 100K.
Meanwhile red states have a 40% higher murder rate than do blue states.
