Popped to the shops for milk and a new purse.
My frog bag is about a third of the size of my current bag, and my purse is mahoosive so I am downsizing.
She didn't have any of the cute designs in a small size (other than some that were too small) so I have a classy leather purse now like an adult.

However! At one point she stumbled, then stuck her back leg out like she'd broken it, while staring at me pleadingly.
I assumed broken glass, or a sharp stick, and inspected the poor broken foot.

Turns out the wood heap is no match for a startled chook - Beans managed to collapse quite a lot of wood.
They were both up on top of it avoiding the dog from next door who would NOT go home, so after some shouting and whatnot, and getting fairly soaked in the rain, I did manage to get them into the chook shed with their scraps, but not before Beans sent quite a lot of wood flying.
Millie, having seen it happen, took a more demure approach to getting to ground level.

In the 80s we took a family road trip up the middle of Australia, along the Oodnadatta Track.
In a Peugeot 504 station wagon.
The people in big 4WDs were saying "Oh god, turn back, this is barely a road" and we were saying "This is fine"
And it was. Bit bouncy at times, but the puggy (as we call them) was a beast.

Good Morning Tiny Dancers.
Quite a lot of people seem to think driving on a dirt road is "off roading", judging by the number of photos I see of US Trucks on dirt roads with captions like "Out in the wilds, off roading".
As a result, every time I drive home from Coles along a dirt road I say "Ooh, off roading!".
Not to mention my driveway, which is even off roadier due to bumps.

Egg update: Eggs are gone.
I knew when I let the chooks out, SIL throws grass in there when she grabs the eggs because "they never get out into the grass".

Brother and SIL were here when I got home and have cleaned the kitchen which is good, I was coming home to do dishes.

Been out and about this morning, coffee with the BFF, servo for tyre pumpings and then Aldi for blankets and a saucepan.

In cheery "Lyn is about to make something she doesn't need but will be a happy project" news, Aldi has brightly coloured blankets this Wednesday that are the perfect size to make a blanket coat.
I use this pattern, which is designed to work with any blanket of the right size (150cm wide for large size) and makes use of existing hems, fringes and edge finishes.

A kerfuffle in the weaving group! Someone posted an AI picture of a cat weaving, which has lead to a blanket ban on AI generated images.
The AI lovers are hurt and offended and some of them are leaving the group when people tell them we don't care if they're hurt and offended about not being able to post AI slop in a creative group.
