275k is quite low in relation to his income, in general you should have 10x your earnings by that age. So ideally his accounts would be over a million at this stage. The good news is he is around the magic number when the compounding starts to accelerate.
I would still push for some bitcoin in his portfolio. Dont sell it as a end of world collapse resistant currency. Just bring up bitcoin being adopted around the world by finance and large companies have added bitcoin to their balance sheets.
