I think we have this strength that we can write things down, compare them next to each other, understand complex stuff with the help of many different tools. but when it comes to our essence, we are actually really simple beings, with very simple needs but we are really suppressing them as you say. artificial light brings more time to do things but less time to feel things. when humans really used to have a different sleep cycle, with physiological wake hours during the night, that was usually a time for stillness and going within. simplicity in eating, spending time outside... all replaced by things that sell as easier but are actually creating weird symptoms... and yes, empathy really matters 🫂

weird in what a world I have been growing up. the difference between my grandparents that had nothing but everything and were trying to survive. my parents, who had everything and they were living. and me, overflowing in everything, watching how the overflow destroys everything. we were never made to organize a whole ecosystem. we were ment to take what we could grab. and now with our far developed mind and the endurance we carry, we also have the potential to balance it out. 💚 there really is so much to talk about and learn. thank you essencial 🫂🫂

Happy 1st of may nostr! whenever this day comes, I remember that I always went out hunting with my dad as its the beginning of deer season. sitting up there, for several hours, watching the sunset, listening to the peaceful sounds and observing several animal species. until sometimes, the sound of a rifle cuts through the silence, echoing through the fields. often, we went home with nothing. but when we were successful, my father told me how to get it ready to eat. today, whenever I look at an animal, I can only see their soul. A feeling I would totally ignore as a child. This is why as an adult, I refused to eat animal products for some years. And, what really made me mad was the way how disrespectful people were to the meat they were eating. At some point, I yelled at people because they would be too pussy to kill an animal to get it's flesh. I remember when someone told me that humanity managed it to outsource the process of killing in order to get meat. I still think thats crazy. It creeps me out that within just a few generations, the majority of people unlearned how to do this unfavorably but important work. Me included. Always be grateful for the meat on your plate. for million of years, a hunger in us developed into a drive to kill. but it was never easy for a human. they suppressed their empathy because of their hunger. now, we can easily suppress it, because all we have to deal with is buying the bag from a farmer. Not being part of the process estranges us. Stay aware. 💚

about two years ago I set myself the goal to pass the german naturopath exam. 5 months until the exam is happening and first of all, I can't believe how far I got. I can't believe how I have endured that time while making jobs that give me so little. today is one of many days where I feel totally out of place. where everything feels scary. It feels like i have such a tunnel vision on this exam that i blend everything else out. lack in sleep, lack in nutrition, lack in socials. getting on the right career path is something very emotional for me.
