I would think that at least your first shuffle from a newly-opened deck would have a high probability of being the same as a previous shuffle, given the much lower number of possibilities. Sort of like how if you gather 40 people in a room you are almost certain to have two who share a birthday.

I don't have this, but if my character is at the edge of a cliff in game (while not on a flying mount), I will have a physical reaction to it.
It's less of a problem on my rogue, because I have my fake-a-soulshape macro (Potion of Gusts + Ardenweald toy) and several slow-fall toys on her bars, and she can also shadowstep to safety if there's any mobs down below, which is probably part of why I never play anything else. I think it's also been mitigated by the number of times I purposely jumped off that tower in Valdrakken and hit the soulshape macro right before I went splat.

All this. When my kids flew to Florida, the gate closed WAY before the plane took off. Print your ticket at home, don't trust their machines to work or anyone to be at the gate to scan your code. Be prepared to get all up in someone's business if they don't accommodate you; they don't like negative PR.
Don't trust that they'll feed you when they say they will, and always have cash on hand for meals and a hotel room in case they have to reroute you. Call your bank and let them know you'll be traveling, but also don't trust them not to push a wrong button and leave you without debit access.
If you can get away without checking any bags, do that. Never put anything in a checked bag that you can't live without for a week.
Oh, and never fly Spirit Airlines.
(I really hope you're not flying with Spirit Airlines. I didn't sleep for two whole days both times my kids were in transit, because there were that many issues.)

Today's task was to (attempt to) fix the neighbor's fence before it falls on someone.
I THOUGHT that it was breaking because their dog used to slam against it trying to get to our chickens. It's REALLY breaking because some genius decided to lay several hundred pounds of rocks against the other side to block the dog from digging under.
The fix involved me digging enough dirt out from under the panels so the rocks they'd piled up would fall into my hole where I could reach them, then pushing the panel back into place and burying half the rocks on my side instead of theirs to brace it.
I only got 1 of 3 panels done, but frankly it's amazing that I was out in the sun as long as I was without suffering heat exhaustion. (At 70 degrees Fahrenheit, because yeah, my body is dumb like that.) I then had to drink almost 64 ounces of ice water and eat a tablespoon of honey straight off the spoon before I had the energy to wash my feet off so I could lie down, so maaaaybe I won't do another of those tomorrow.
