Can you share a link that didn’t work? Many URLs can’t be parsed due to permissions issues or lack of metadata as you mentioned, but most of them work in both web and mobile app, if you don’t see them in the editor, just switch to preview so they can be parsed.

The thing is, this NIP isn’t widely adopted yet, which is why we’re still sticking with the old standards. We’ll gradually start using the new kind for sure, but it’s always a good idea to keep the main root ID so you stay compatible with both old and new standards.

Hey @nprofile…p7un Those notifications are from people you follow. Anything they post (other than notes) triggers a notification. I checked your settings and the “Following” option is enabled. If you don’t want these, just disable that option. PS: notifications you already received are cached. If you want them gone, do a hard refresh using the arrow above, after that you’ll only see what matches your current notification settings.

Yes, we do have these too, but you will find them on the last step of publising, while leaving the user to write on a wider editor not disturbed by any additional fields at first, the thumbnail, description.. etc will popup on the “next” step once you finish writing and you’re about to publish your article 😄

Which version has stopped working for you? I believe this type of upgrade is necessary due to the tools used in the app, many packages requires newer Android versions in order to work properly, while not everyone will benefit from this, but it's a necessity for the majority of users.

It's just whitelisting people based on your followings list, your followings' followings and their mutes, a simple logic that compute the degree of trust out of 10.
Setting the threshold to 10 blocks all content coming from out of your followings list, the lower the threshold you set the more people you acknowledge as trustworthy, if you want to see everything, I suggest you to turn it off completely.

Hey @nprofile…djnf I suggest you to use AlbyExtension as Nos2X does not queue the events signing, we'll have an update to enable/disable direct messages as this is the main feature that has a bundle of requests that needs to be fulfilled sequentially, if you want to stick to Nos2x just allow always signing to avoid this for now.

Hey @nprofile…msk6 the web-app comments section in YakiHonne contains a hierarchy of comments that can be displayed in one place rather than clicking back and forth to see all the thread, for this to work, the replies needs to contains all the data from the parents above, and that user that you do not see, has used a nostr client that does not include all the necessary data to make this possible, it should contain both the reply id and the root id, in this case it missed the root id which makes the tree building impossible. For the comments count, it behaves differently and count everything regardless of the note structure.

If not can you check the web of trust settings, if the notifications WoT is on, many notifications will be ignored if those people do not meet the whitelisting criteria, to access the WoT settings go to Settings > Content moderation > Web of trust configuration.

@nprofile…u246 Regarding the widget drafts, there are two types of drafts, the auto draft (the last edit, and you will see it once you open the editor) and the manual draft (you hit 'save as draft' and it stays there regardless of the content it contains), the first type is in real-time and can be overrode by starting a blank sheet, while the other one needs to be deleted manually because it was created manually, I don’t quite understand your point, can you explain further your scenario?

Hey @nprofile…u246 the profile is a public page, so everyone can see what’s there, and adding content that wasn’t created by the user might feel confusing for others since the rest of the page reflects their own work. Anything personal to the user, like their own widgets or the ones they’ve saved, is available in the dashboard, and that’s really the place designed for that. So for now, mixing both on the profile isn’t supported until we find a good way to handle it nicely.

Hey Sunny, the saved widgets list isn’t the same as the widgets on your profile. Your profile only shows the widgets you published. Think of saved widgets like bookmarks, they only show up in your dashboard.

This looks weird, from the screenshot, the video has already started to buffer, it should start playing when you engage with the player, what browser are you using? and can you please try to open it in a new tab (only the video not the entire note), you press right over the video player > copy its address > open it in a new tab and see if you get the same problem, thanks for helping out 🙏

Videos with direct links can be downloaded from the video menu, hit the options dots > download video, if you’re referring to other videos published in common platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo, there is not a direct way to do this for the moment, if I’m mismatching your problem, you can provide a screen recording or screenshot to further inspect it, thanks.

Hey @npub1tes…5l24, You’re not doing anything wrong, YakiHonne’s search is built purely on NOSTR standards, relays can only match tagged words in a note, they’re pretty limited and can’t do deep or content-based searches. Primal works differently, it’s centralized, so they query both tags and the note content using their own cache. For now, NOSTR just doesn’t allow that kind of search without some centralization in the mix.

Also, sometimes articles get stuck in the local cache, tho they have been truly deleted from NOSTR, you can either refresh and try again or clean your cache, we’re using the NDK as core handler, and it sometimes suck in this.

Hey @npub1tes…5l24 glad you found where to delete articles haha alongside with other content, and regarding deleting notes, initially in NOSTR this was against the standard, that’s why most clients do not offer such feature, but we made this available as a smart widget, you can head to Smart Widgets > (see Delete your notes widget) > (browse your notes) and then you can delete them.

Sure, we’re checking the Github issues regularly, so feel free to open issues there, and are you talking about deleting messages within conversation or the entire conversation from your inbox list while filtering? Because constructing coversations takes a lot of process of both accumulating data and encrypting it, so for a fast filter toggling the best way is to just hide it rathen than delete it.

Actually the point system has been in YakiHonne for a while now (more than a year I think), the time of its release was experimental and we wanted more people to join this, but as it's growing now, we will definitely make more plans for it.

It was there and it got removed 😅now we’re encouraging people to create miniapps to cover up on missing NIPs on YakiHonne such as Zap polls, calendars.. etc but with more demands on this, we might get it back. (PS: we render and fully support voting and votes stats for zal polls, you can try and paste polls addresses on the note editor for testing 👌🏼)

Okey, you've done a good job spotting the issue thanks for that, just let me clear a few points in regards:
- Some extensions works better than others as some of them are optimized and feature rich and in constant update (such as Alby extension) it is my go-to when it comes to NIP07
- As most of our users are using Chrome, we might sometimes miss the support for other browsers such as Brave, and we're glad to get feedbacks for this as it helps us pay more attention to it
- The CPU usage is a result of handling too many background process, to provide a seamless experience we have to deal with a lot of data fetching and local database reading/writing, you see having the WOT activated, the outbox model, messages decryption, notes statistics and reactions aggregation, saving users scrolling position and previously visited pages..etc and lot more, this requires so much work as this is the only solution for a truly decentralized platform
But surely we're working hard to optimize this to have support to all devices and platforms, thanks again for the feedback and feel free to tag us at anytime 🙏

Clearing your browser’s cache ( not only refreshing the page ) will mostly solve shifted dates and unfetched data issue for most cases as this reset the local cached timstamps, try to do this and see if the problem persists, I’ll double check from my end as well 🙏🏼
