Applied a layer of mod podge to all the XPS.
Primed the unpainted stuff grey with a rattle can.
Turns out mod podge does NOT protecc XPS😥

quick fix tip from one roofer to another: cut all but the top shingles in strips. Don't cut all the way through but make shingle strips. Cut the length of a few in the line a bit, cut off an angle here or there for variation, and then bend them out at different angles. It's pretty fast to glue them on that way. Still a PITA, but less so.

I do have a nice flagstone texture roller (unfortunately from the Spanish bunch of dicks), but the area is vast in comparison so I'd never line them up. That one's off the table (unless, I guess, I cut out individual flagstones after rolling, which multiplies the pain in the ass). I've got some wall plaster I'll be giving a try first and will try ADC/PVA. Cheers!

I've done some more miniature bricklaying and I'm happy to report that the entire box has been cladded around the sides. The next project is the top, but for that I need to experiment with some different ways of using a silicone mould for easy flagstone making.
Air drying clay is meh: the edges curl up, and polymer oven clay is meh: centres puff up.

Drafted up a league document for a #BloodBowl league.
As my nerds should now be able to function without training wheels we've progressed from #BloodBowl7s to full fat Blood Bowl.
I'm allowing my nerds to play multiple teams and catering for people whose time is constrained, aiming at loads of Fun™.

Worked on my #TrenchCrusade #Terrain #TrashBash. Made a tiny pillbox type bunker and steps for stairs with some foam packaging.
Also cut off a new barrier shape and made fire steps as one apparently needs them. Still need clipping BTW.

Worked on my #TrenchCrusade #Terrain piece.
Joined the two parts of the barrier together and solved the fact that I cannot cut perfect angles with my hand held styrofoam cutter by some good old-fashioned ingenuity.
Covered the end caps as well.
