His statement doesn't make logical sense. You can't have a "majority" at the "top" and still have a meaningful concept of what the "top" is. If everyone is a billionaire, no one is... (And wouldn't his framing imply that the majority is served by an overburdened slave class at the "bottom"?)
There's nothing inherently wrong with being of lower economic means than someone else. You don't have to be at the top to live a meaningful, fulfilling life. While economic status is a necessarily rivalrous rank ordering where one person's being at the top necessarily means everyone else isn't, satisfaction and contentment are not.

Decentralization is certainly essential for the foundational monetary layer. Once established, that provides a better foundation upon which you can build more centralized systems, such as for daily commerce. For example, I can trust lightning payments and companies like Block for commerce more because I know that they build on bitcoin, which is decentralized.
Similarly, for communication, I want certain protocols, like the internet, to be decentralized, but I also benefit from some amounts of centralization, i.e., the Signal app.
Nostr has a chance at becoming one of the foundational decentralized protocols of a new era of social media. I think it will flourish when centralized providers are able to use it as a substrate to offer services on top of it.

Stampeding a church and harassing parishioners is a severely greater offense than protesting outside of an abortion clinic or even rioting at a government building, in my opinion. It is in the spirit of the first amendment to protect the sanctity of worship by prosecuting those who would violate it.

It's tricky to keep the price stable in sats when the BTC-USD exchange rate is so unstable, at least as long as your customers are all pricing their consumption in dollars.
Your prices could increase or decrease 2% on a typical day, and would on average get more expensive over time. Not to mention the flash crashes which involuntarily put your product on sale.
As more people keep larger stacks of sats in reserve, this will become less of a problem.

This is vital. The only way to make bitcoin attractive to the masses is to pass along a discount to consumers for paying in bitcoin. This should be justified by the savings on transaction fees you get from opting out of credit card payment processing.

A couple of other unexpected behaviors that I am noticing:
1. I can't figure out how to transfer units between non-adjacent territories. Right now I have to walk troops square by square to get them to an intended target.
2. When I capture a player-owned territory, I don't also capture their economic units. The population counter for the territory resets to 100 when I take possession of it.

Haha yes, these numbers are getting astronomically large.
Maybe there is way to model larger conflicts instead of iterating millions of dice rolls.
Otherwise, introducing diminishing marginal returns to population growth which would encourage territorial expansion.

Yes, the lags have cleared up. However, it appears to crash when I try to run a large attack. I have a neighbor with nearly a billion units at this point. I tried attacking him when it was about 500 million v 500 million, and the battle would not resolve. Instead, my client completely lagged out for several minutes, and when I got back online the attack did not resolve.

Right. I'd be in favor of a 100% reserve requirement. I might be okay with allowing banks to engage in fractional reserve lending as long as there were strict laws (maybe constitutional prohibitions) against bailouts. Let banks stand or fail on the basis of their own policies, and let consumers take on the level of risk they think is appropriate.

I do think that as long as banks don't buy up the mining industry, bitcoin can remain uncorrupted.
I ultimately don't think banks could print enough to buy up all the bitcoin. They'd collapse under hyperinflation before that happened.
I do also agree with you that it's essential to reform/abolish the state monopoly on credit creation.
