Absolutely helacious crash from the kitchen. The entire shelf with our china collapsed. The little plastic brackets broke. After 20 years of not breaking.
The only damage was a newer ceramic bowl beneath!! (and a small chip on the edge of a plate.)

Yesterday, the downy woodpecker was feeding his little one and a robin was waiting patiently for him to finish. The baby flew off for some reason, leaving the dad holding a mouthful, so he gave it to the grown-ass robin.

also, are there people who are thinking about why #math? Like, we have whole systems of thinking around life evolution...do we have an analogue for math? Why did the universe organize that way? It's such an encompassing lens that I struggle to name an alternative. Color, sound etc are all just math filtered through a brain that evolved to interpret that math.

Is there a #math term for the two types of infinities: the infinite infinity set and the limited one? Integers versus dice. Like the die is unlimited in 1-6 results, but aren't infinite--that's the word, maybe? Unlimited vs infinite?

Found the cat's unshelled peanut while vacuuming (under the turntable cupboard). I put it on the windowsill for him, and he politely carried it back to the floor to have a go.
He chooses one from the birdfeeder box when I fill it, and then plays with it until he gets the peanut out.
