It looks like it's something to do with what @nprofile…deau said. At minestr.app I'm using path handlers to serve specific files for nostr.json queries. It works for lowercase for some reason, but for uppercase it bugs out. Whereas if I test not using a redirect (just a plain hosted file at alpha.minestr.app/.well-known/nostr.json, and then try to use [email protected] (despite the JSON name key being lowercase "chris"), it verifies as OK. This behaviour confuses me.

Thanks 👍 I was querying it using browser which I guess automatically changes it to lowercase before sending, which Amethyst mustn't. So why does it work for [email protected] in Amethyst?

@nprofile…deau when I use uppercase in my nostr address, it says unverified. Is this case sensitive? It seems not because @nprofile…lzt0 has an uppercase B set in her profile but lowercase in her nostr.json and it says verified...

I made a multiplayer bitcoin mining sim for nostr users

I used nostr-login to allow nostr users to compete against each other for sats while learning about bitcoin and nostr and contributing to open source software development. There's an in-game bitcoin/nostr quiz to earn gSats (game-sats) for buying more equipment (currently adding more questions). 50% of all in-game lightning payments go to the epoch winner and the other 50% go to OpenSats. The epoch join fee is currently 21 sats, but I plan to raise it after testing/feedback to increase the size of the payout/donation. You can read more about the game logic in the Rules / FAQ section.
I would love to get your feedback / suggestions for making the game more fun and appealing!

I think the spam is good for the evolution of nostr. We come here for high signal. Relays will likely be forced to charge sats for writing permission. This will raise the signal of content and prevent spam. Value4value.

Primal can be used with an extension on pc browser. Not sure but you can probably also use amber app on android.

phoenixd is just the liquidty source. you can backup the keys but without the data that describes your wallet id and structure, it's not possible to restore. That's my understanding. That's why they tell you never to uninstall the phoenix mobile app if you have a problem, because that data will be lost.

Phoenixd has seed words stored in its seed.dat file after run the first time. It's likely that Alby hub db would also need to be backed up if you wanted to restore, do they have docs on this?

The noise complaints are understandable though. Immersion seems the way forward for miners located near population centers. I wonder if it was just used as an excuse by the gov to shut them down though.
