Though there is a stray cat that's been coming around my property lately, that I have dubbed Mustache. He bullies my 3 legged cat so we are on strange terms. I don't consider him to be my responsibility yet, but he did have a close encounter with my neighbor's dogs that almost got me more involved than I want to be. Outcome pending.

Sorry about that. I am not the programmer nor a programmer at all for that matter, but I'll make note of this bug. If it is not already fixed in the next update, I will report it.
If you log in with a nostr browser extension or a bunker signer, it should work just fine.

Well, it is not a dramatic story. I have been one of nostr's intrepid explorers for a few years. It was suggested to me that I should try to run this particular relay package. I agreed to try it and everything has snowballed around it since. I have a mental list of micro reasons for why I chose the name, but it is too long to post. 😅

There are 2 different experimental clients that I've spun up for SpArc, both are the result of programs intended for communities to easily create custom clients (and both were originally forks of Jumble, before evolving, iirc) . Which url did you happen to find?

Yesss! 🥳💜 Try all the things, find the ones you like, and use them. Find the ones you think will be helpful for your friends and get comfortable enough with them to explain them. Be cautious in following and unfollowing anyone until you know the client can find your full profile and visit https://metadata.nostr.com every now and then to make backing up and recovering your profile easy, in case some misbehaving client mucks it up.
I'm super glad you discovered zapping without NWC or a built-in wallet. It's reliable in comparison and you have the freedom to choose where your funds are coming from for every transaction. I operate that way & I'm a big advocate of it for anyone new to nostr and bitcoin. Paying an invoice you generate is an aha moment for anyone new(ish) to bitcoin. Seeing all of that happen makes it more comprehensive and adds some brevity to the fact that it's actually money and not some worthless in-app points or something. Once that starts making sense, the idea of self-custody isn't nearly so intimidating.
You know my favorites... but I think you should try sending a protected voice message to wss://spatia-arcana.com/internal with https://yakbak.app 😊 its 10x easier than it seems!

I just had a silly client idea... something like a sticker shop... but for community generated sharable (as in usable by another person) types of events, such as emoji packs, follow packs, badges, and such. I think that would be fun to browse.

Things are just humming along on wss://spatia-arcana.com . We have fun, intelligent, and fascinating members on our little growing tree, our first content bot (thanks @npub1fhp…ds8n 💜), some chill chat groups, nostr edu reading materials written by members, a beautiful collective kind 20 gallery, a couple books (thanks @npub1m3x…a5sf 💜), many ngit repos (thanks @npub180c…h6w6 💜), _mostly_ highly informative btc notes, lots of humor, lots of nature, art, and esoteric notes... and there are so many different quality ways to explore and interact with various parts of the community now.
After realizing that I could actually run a Pyramid relay, I wanted SpArc to serve as an example of how awesome Nostr could be and, thanks to everyone who's gotten involved, it has far exceeded my expectations in a mere 7 months. I have an underlying feeling that this is only the beginning. 😊
