Retro Gaiden only retains data from remote servers for one week. This tremendously cuts down on server storage/ costs. Unfortunately it also makes the bookmark function on posts somewhat useless. A post can be bookmarked, only for it to be removed from bookmarks less than a week later if the post comes from a remote user.
As a workaround, I suggest bookmarking the original post using browser bookmarks.
This leads me to this poll.
Should Retro Gaiden remove the bookmark function on posts?

I had to take the rss feed from the account on nitter.net, then run it through a separate RSS generator. That gave me a new URL that I was then able to plug into mastofeed.org and link it to the Odysee RG account. It was a pain lol

I got the @npub1cxc…67x6 account to be fully automated. It works!

I’m 99% sure DS2 controllers aren’t recognized by the PS1 consoles but the port is identical. I thought the DS1 controllers were sold in a variety of colors, including black. I got this 2nd hand :guilded_shrug:

Utica, NY - Shithole
Rock Springs, WY - Beautiful mountain views, clean air, loads of restaurants
Sisters, OR - Cute, picturesque downtown. Surrounded by Oregon’s iconic forests and of course the 3 Sisters Mountains
Shiprock, NM - Would be a nice town in a place with stunning desert views if it weren’t for the ever-present and soul crushing levels of poverty & homelessness

#Odysee brought back their automatic #YouTube sync tool as a standalone app after YouTube broke the automatic sync ability on their end. The new app works on Windows, Linux and Mac. :odysee:
You install the app locally and sign in. It then detects when new content is uploaded to YouTube and it auto-uploads the same content to Odysee. A true "set it and forget it" solution for people that don't want to upload the same content manually to both places.

the right side of the image behind the navigation panel (right side) now fades into the brick wall background using gradient transparency. Account names now show the faint, mint-colored glow behind them in some areas.

You may have noticed some more slight improvements to the visual elements of Retro Gaiden. The improvements are subtle but are really smooth. Thanks to @npub1pjm…tvfk for one of the ideas.

I just resized the same image I was using for the background on the mobile version and placed it in the same spot :guilded_shrug:
That's one of the downsides of using apps: they don't retain any of the custom CSS or branding of any instances. That's why I use RG as a web app.
