I went there to see a “popular” band on tour once. I was supposed to sign with their label.

With the rebirth and near-instant death of #Digg, likely due to investor greed, it really makes you appreciate #Lemmy and #Piefed, and the #Fediverse in general, a whole lot more. There’s no threat of enshittification here.

I wonder, exactly, how it is that some men feel as though they can’t discuss their feelings? I was raised by a man whose idea of “sharing feelings” was punching anything that moved, or worse. I realized quickly that wasn’t the right way.
Additionally, being open about your thoughts and feelings makes you feel better. Seems odd that someone would intentionally suppress that.

There’s just this level of arrogance involved in the idea that someone’s feed should immediately be appealing to them, without them having to do anything to make it that way.
I’ve had to mute a lot of topics. I’ve had to mute and or block people that made my feed terrible.
And also, telling people how to post is, in itself, arrogant. As if they’re the arbiter of the fediverse.
