: Umbenannt ja, aber ob nur der Schilderklau der Grund waren? Zensur der Ortsnamen auf großen, prüden (also amerikanischen) Medienplattformen war dem Tourismus sicher auch nicht zuträglich.

: Nicht nur in letzter Zeit. Ich hab schon vor über 10 Jahren Ortstafeln von "Hacking" (gibt's laut Wikipedia 3× in Österreich) auf Hacker-Events gesehen. Und in Lauchringen fehlt die am eher selten genutzten Ortsausgang (30er-Zone zu Feldern) auch gefühlt alle 1-2 Monate. Dabei heißt das nicht einmal Zwiebelringen. Ahja und in Perl und in dessen Ortsteil Borg fehlen die Ortstafeln wohl auch immer mal wieder. In Husten und Halbhusten könnte ich mir das auch vorstellen.

Heute mal wieder für 'ne längere #Radtour mit dem #BromptonElectricGLine #rausgeschafft: 59½km, 498hm und das alles auf 1 Akku vom #Brompton #ElectricGLine mit am Ende noch 9% Restakku.
(Die letzten Tage saß ich zwar auch jeden Tag im Velosattel, aber die Fahrten zählten eher "unter ferner liefen" und zufriedenstellende Bilder gab's auch keine. Aber ich hab den #BikeStreak aufrecht erhalten und bin nun bei Tag 20. Und bei 668km in den letzten 4 Wochen…)

: Oops, due to not expecting nag screens to be repeated by default, I read the "Do show again" as "Do not show again". (Or did that change?) I nevertheless would expect a "No" button regardless of the checkbox being checked or unchecked.
And indeed, there's neither libreoffice-gtk3 nor libreoffice-gtk4 installed. Then again I'm probably old enough so that I didn't consider the design to be outdated. I also start LibreOffice with the soffice command due to being used to that. 🧓🤓🧔‍♂️

#TIL: You can't save a spreadsheet in the "Save as" dialog in #LibreOffice whose file name contains an asterisk ("*"). You don't get any error message nor an greyed out "Save" button. It just does nothing, even though the originally opened file has that asterisk in the name. Escaping via backslash also doesn't work. 🤬 🤌

: Zuletzt war's halt umgekehrt. Und Rust- und Go-Programme sind statisch gelinkt und müssen deswegen halt auch bei jedem Security-Update einer der gegebenenfalls indirekten Dependencies neu kompiliert werden, weswegen deren Security-Updates oft hinterher hinken. Alleine die Übersicht zu behalten, was da in einer Distri alles neu gebaut werden muss und es dann auch zu tun, ist ein nicht zu vernachlässigender Aufwand. IMHO ist das eher ein Security-Nightmare.

: 3.35.1 still has a bug related to citations: The icon bar in the notification view has an icon for citing, but it shows me all surveys I took part in. The next icon is the survey icon. Clicking on it shows me the posting of all people where I checked the bell icon for being notified about posts. And if I click on the house/home icon, I get all my recent new followers. And so on… Seems as if the icon has been added, but the referred code points haven't been updatesd.

What is "Standard" here? How is watch time defined? Does it suffice to mark videos as watched? I've added a few of his videos to my "to watch" list, but in general he hasn't so much about topics I'm interested in. So I probably won't follow his Nebula channels.

: My #Citroën #2CV. It's just 35 years old (i.e. from 1989, the year before they ended production), but that version (the 2CV6) was first built in 1970, i.e. 54 years ago. My 2CV currently has around 350'000km on the clock and there's nearly no part I haven't replaced yet. Actually only the fuel tank, rear axle and the shifting stick are still original parts. #DuckOfTheseus
I though only use it once or twice a month as I do most things by bicycle these days.
