I’m right handed and left eyed. I shoot with both eyes open, but my grip is crooked to align. You have the same alignment problem with left hand and right eye. Test it out when dry fire: close the right eye and get a sight picture, then redo with both eyes open.

Can you turn on the pump manually without the miner? You could test the pump rate with a bucket and you can test the pressure by running a hose up and measuring the height of water above the pump.
