actually @npub15z3…0xrp has a fantastic podcast episode about his adversarial use of LinkedIn / being part of a LinkedIn resistance movement: https://jaredwhite.com/podcast/128/ he almost convinced me to get my account out of hibernation (starting at around 14:00 min)

oh my! I would help but I sent my account into hibernation in November 2024 and never looked back... (it's so refreshing not to get constant email notifications about InMail messages that are super spammy)

Jag rekommenderar verkligen YunoHost för självhosting. När jag ”bara” hade GoToSocial, Friendica och Pixelfed kunde jag köra dem på en VPS för 5 euro per månad.
Jag uppgraderade till ett något dyrare abonnemang för PeerTube eftersom video är så resurskrävande.
Beroende på dina behov kan en grundläggande VPS räcka. Förresten, för nio månader sedan visste jag bokstavligen INGENTING om självhosting. YunoHost är det bästa alternativet och ger dig möjlighet att göra så mycket.

thank you for sharing her incredible accomplishments. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your posts and I have a tiny request / just raising a question about her.
So her real full name is Maria Skłodowska-Curie - I feel that when she raised to fame while working in France, her Polish identity was completely erased.
The French love turning names into French (Léonard de Vinci, Boccace, Michel-Ange etc.) so she's always been referred to Marie Curie. When I tell my 4-year-old about this scientist's phenomenal accomplishments, I always refer to her as "Maria Skłodowska-Curie" - thus honoring her birth first name and last name, too. Thoughts?
