Y'all, tell me if you think I'm wrong on this. When I'm right with Jesus, I'm living in grace, successful in living holiness, and enjoying the peace that follows, I see doves around my farm. ITM, y'all.
With the heat and the drought I"m having to feed my cattle and horses with hay. That's a big problem as I'll need all the hay I have to feed them in the winter months. Not only this but without rain the grass isn't growing so as to bale more hay, which is desperately needed to have enough.
If any of you praying folks could fire one upward for rain I sure would be grateful. Thank you.

ITM, I could use some prayer. I have a large ornery heifer that needs to be found and cut out of the herd. With my only roping horse recently deceased, catching/loading her on foot, and her dangerous disposition, all by my lonesome, in a time crunch, I could use some agreement from above to this endeavor. There were numerous things I didn't anticipate when I became a dad. One of those things was the how I was going to feel about my 6' ,200lb, very strong and aggressive 13yr old's soon-coming ability to give me a run for my money in our roughhousing. I remember the old timers telling me to take it easy. Although it was college football and wrestling which I don't regret, I'm certainly paying for it. By the time I turned 50 I felt all of it. The only thing that helps is the fact that I have to work hard every day on my farm. It's that labor that keeps me limber and not locked up. THe mornings are the worst but after I've gotten going I begin to loosen up and feel better.

This is the second time. The first was a week ago after the dr called the sheriff's office to physically restrain him and hold him for observation. We're having a hard time getting the med staff recognize the contrast between his usual ornery self and this new hyper-jovial irrational self. My wife has taken videos of him flipping from one personality to the other. Yesterday he barked at a nurse for not getting him Trumps cell phone number. The doctors think it cute, I reckon.

He's had similar episodes but they turned out to be med related. He's on 3 psychotropics that have occasionally needed adjusting, but so far, when they found the balance he regained normal.
One of the problems we're having is the medical care seemed to be uncooperative beyond adjusting dosages. They are appallingly unhelpful.
We're hoping this turns out to be another med adjustment, but this one seems different.

It started out manic. but now it is manic and delusion. We get a call that he'd been found and put in the hospital in a town across the state. He walked up to a cop and said he needed help. They called the mother in law and she and my wife raced yonder to be with him. While they sat with him he just kept talkin how the new him was the sweetest man in the world and the next sentence rebuked everyone for doubting him. My wife, Phd in counseling says he's clearly insane.

My wife's daddy is in the middle of a manic episode; even though he doesn't have bipolar. My wife and I are hunting a phone option for our 13 year old. We want him to have call and text and the ability to listen to music, but without internet. We're looking at the Gab phone but it says it filters bad words from their music, which I can't imagine that works well, and which we're not all that much concerned with.
Our priority is no internet access but those flip open phones suck.
