I've been shopping around for a new instance, as mine is shutting down, and #fosstodon looks perfect. I'm big into FOSS these days, looking to get into a community. Anyone know how to land an invite? 🤞

I'm excited by the quick pacing. There's a lot of manhwa to get through, and there's some cool story arcs coming up.

I've used #linux professionally a couple of times, though the use cases were small. A few other times to tinker. Today, I officially switched our laptop over after years of bloat, and performance really starting to chug. I've had my eyes on Mint (with Cinnamon) for awhile, and dived straight in. So far, it's a delight! Kudos to the #FOSS community who have created a working kernel (compatible with secure boot) that works with the Surface lineup. It's been entirely seamless. I'm flabbergasted that volunteers have given this first party device better support than Microsoft themselves.
