IP 4 addresses ran out years ago. Once upon a time, anyone could get a /24 block of addresses for free, by filling out a form. Before NAT, every computer behind the modem had to be issued a real IP address. You'd set the IP address using dip switches on the Ethernet card. So, the idea was, once a computer was issued an IP address, it kept it. Forever. Because changing IP addresses needed a service technician to physically come to the office to do it.
Telstra, the largest teloco in Australia, only issues IP6 address to all its mobile users. Been doing that for several years. They no longer use any IP4 on their mobile network. Also means they no longer needed to run CGNAT because every user gets a real IP6 address.
The second largest teloco Optus, still only uses IP4 and CGNAT exclusively.
My home Internet connection has both a single IP4 address, and 64 IP6 addresses. My DHCP server issues IP6 to everything on my home network.
iRacing has the option of using IP6 to access their servers which I use and the reduction in latency is dramatically lower.
The vast majority of my Internet use is already IP6. The server running my personal relay uses IP6. My connection from my phone to the relay you're reading this reply on is IP6.
I'll bet there's a shit ton of Internet users that are already using IP6 and don't even know it.

It's because the one hundred year old machine that makes the egg cartons still works perfectly. When producers have tried using plastic cartons with only 10 eggs, they don't sell because there's always a huge stack of familiar cardboard dozen eggs that simply have more eggs in them. Why buy 10, when you can buy twelve.
Egg producers continue to use a hundred year old technology because no one has ever built a better, cheaper and more efficient packaging method.

Because investors like hedge funds aren't setup to take custody of Bitcoin. ETF certificates, doesn't matter if they are for Bitcoin or frozen concentrated orange juice or Vanguard Trust are all just products that can be traded easily. Existing stock and commodities exchanges can facilitate the trading of them without having to do anything.
And traders aren't interested in investing in slow moving long term blue chip stocks. Traders want volitile products that fluctuate by large amounts daily. Traders don't care about the underlying asset. To traders, Bitcoin ETFs are nothing more than casino chips.
The only thing that matters is that the ETF fund has the Bitcoin they claim to have. Because anyone can verify the Bitcoin held by the fund, it makes Bitcoin ETF funds very trustworthy. Other types of ETF funds can easily fake their holdings.

After you using desktop or mobile? I just tried chachi.chat on desktop and it had way more options than Flotilla. Gives you way more options like embedded videos.

Afaik, Flotilla and another app are the only two that fully support Nip-29.
Perhaps just start with the ability to browse, read and post to the groups. Leave group management to Flotilla app for the time being.
For mobile users, Amethyst, Damus, Primal and Yakki must have more than 80 percent of of mobile users, but none of them support Nip-29.
Desktop clients like noStrudel an Snort don't support groups. At least Coracle has a link to Flotilla when you click on the Communities option. It explains that communities are dead and invites users to try Flotilla.

Could you have the option to switch from the current 'scroll new posts' to something like yakki does where there's a little pop-up at the top that shows the number of new posts and you tap it to load the new posts?
Sometimes, having a post you're reading scroll of the screen because of new posts can be annoying.

Yes, you're in. I use Flotilla on mobile where you click the three dots at the top and the Groups screen slides out. That's where you click the create room option, give it a name, set the permissions of who can see/read/write to the group. You then send out 4 invites. Each invite you send out can then also invite 4 more people. Each of them, another 4 etc. Or, if you just set the room permission to public, then anyone can join. Or, you set set permission so public can read it, but only members can post.
