ohh yeah I’ve been hearing about this comic!! will check it out soon for sure!!
yeah I do think that community should be at the center of such a story, where the hero should actively be a part of it, hell even if they don’t have powers per se.
I remember reading a short story in Sunvault featuring a kid who uses their hacking skills and dexterity to turn a newly built hotel into a refuge for the homeless. I think even stories like that can be considered heroic in some way, and tbh my ideas were more along the lines of that than something like the MCU lol

I would say that could definitely be a main conflict within this type of story, as I alluded earlier when I said if the community even needs a superhero.
Now that I think about it, using the word “superhero” was probably the wrong approach since these days it carries some assumptions like what they should be and plot lines where they take down the “villain”.
And so to be fair I don’t want to come across like I want to have all these characteristics in a solarpunk story; just something different to where the character provides a meaningful impact to their community.

I’ve been wondering for a bit what a #solarpunk superhero would look like?
Keeping it within the realms of reality and an emphasis on community, in what ways would this hero stand out among the rest; what would their powers be?
Who do they want to save? Save them from what? What specific problems would they face?
How does his community view him? Selfish? Individualistic? Do they even need a hero?
I know that all depends on the setting (modern city or future utopia), but I would like to know at least some general aspects of what these heroes can look like. Let me know your thoughts!
