Nice! How does this correlates if there's any similarity with https://radicle.xyz/? I tested hashtree but it never really shows any folders on files.iris.to for me (maybe not well connected or something related to relays?). With hashtree I still have to trust the blossom servers right?

Because of the pace of development being so fast in Nostr, it has mostly has become abandonware. It seems that most nostr ~~vibedev~~ devs are not prepared to keep championing a project until that J curve of adoption materialize. Strange to see just so much amazing projects abandoned.
This clearly shows that it's not *just* "build and they will come" there's the political aspect of getting others attention as well.

There's no such thing as "my data" or "your data" once you publish it literally becomes public domain. You can own a thought but never something published (either with your voice or fingers).
IP defenders will try to convince you with a bunch a too-complex-to-think-through filibuster, but in the end, no one can attest that a thought leading to a post was first idealized in their head. You can only ensure ownership through secrecy.

Yeah, but nostr won't solve all the problems here either. It's not a magical protocol that makes tyrants go away. They'll keep going after platforms, dissidents, protocols or the people running/using it. There's no limit for the mind of a tyrant. So, any move against a dictator is a valid move for freedom.
Unfortunately, not all things can be solved with software.

If there's one thing to learn on the web is that internet will always find a way to do what it wants.
If people want to spam or do ads, I prefer getting paid for than for free.
I receive more spam emails that pay me nothing to ignore them than ln ads.
Although would be nice to have a config to put a price on my attention (like receive ads only for 21 SATs or more)

On #satshack we built a proxy to help relay operators maintain a community that spam free and aligned with their private policy of what is allowed to be posted (eg. can't that about shitcoins in this relay, etc.). Leveraging #nip42 to prevent and onboard users in the relay (without leaving the client) and #LLM to parse the privacy policy and to judge if the content adhere to the policy.
